For your convenience, we have compiled information that we trust will be helpful as you shop for uniforms. We have made a few changes to the Elementary and Middle School uniforms. This document reflects the current policies. CHANGES TO THE DRESS CODE FOR THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR Middle School Grades 6 th -8 th now have the option to wear navy blue, white or red polo shirts on Wednesday for chapel day. Middle School Grades 6 th -8 th may wear navy blue or red approved sweatshirts with hoods during chapel. The green chapel cardigan/vest will be no longer be an option to wear. Only approved sweatshirts, fleece vests/jackets with logos, and cardigan/sweaters may be worn to school. Coats may be worn for warmth outside for recess but NON- sweatshirts will not be permitted. DRESS CODE INFORMATION ATTACHMENTS The attached uniform information sheets have been designed to help you navigate our uniform policies, vendors and specifics to our uniform. DRESS CODE SPECIFICS: This detailed information outlines approved uniform standards for Elementary and Middle School boys and girls. VENDOR SELECTIONS: works with three vendors. This document provides information on where to purchase approved uniforms and how to order them. Read through this information very carefully before shopping and/or ordering uniforms for the school year. (Keep in mind if you purchase items at Tommy Hilfiger Uniforms, Creative Logo Solutions or Dennis Uniform, you must order ONLY approved uniforms. PE UNIFORMS AND SPIRIT WEAR: HERE S YOUR STARTING POINT UNIFORM REMINDERS (K-8) All official (with * logo) P.E. T-shirts and Sweatshirts must be ordered from Creative Logo Solutions. Fleece zipper down vests/jackets in red or navy blue may be purchased from Creative Logo Solutions, Tommy Hilfiger or Dennis Uniforms and may be worn on non-chapel days in the classroom. * Logo refers to the compass logo, initials or Gator Athletics Screen printing.

Length of skirts/skorts/shorts/jumpers/free dress outfits is as follows: From the hem of the garment to the center of the back of the knee, must not exceed 3 inches. This is the minimum length allowed. Garments may be longer if desired. Middle school girls can only wear the Tommy Hilfiger or Dennis specific skirt specified by. No other skirts will be allowed this year. All uniforms and non-uniform (PE and free dress included) must comply with length requirements. Specific guidelines, changes and purchasing guidelines are available in these documents. We highly recommend using only our vendors for all uniform items. If you choose to shop from one of the following stores we only recommend purchasing pants and/or polo shirts. If you choose to purchase pants or shirts outside of our vendors please make sure these items comply with our dress code. Suggested Stores for pants and polo shirts: Old Navy, Target, Kohl s, Sears, Children s Place and JC Penney s PE UNIFORMS Creative Logo Solutions frequently sells PE uniforms in our lobby before school or after school. Dates and times will be posted on our website. PRICES has found vendors that have quality products for good prices. Thus, price adjustments and increases are not made by. RIGHT TO AMEND has the right to amend the uniform code at any time with or without notice. has the right to determine whether or not a clothing item(s) meets our code or the mission of our school. PLEASE LABEL YOUR CHILD S CLOTHING We strongly recommend that you label your children s clothing. Unlabeled items are taken to a local charity at the end of every month. Creative Logo Solutions offers monogramming for sweatshirts which is recommended. Dennis Uniforms sells labels that are ideal for labeling all your children s outer clothing items, backpacks, water bottles and lunch boxes. You may also use a sharpie to write clearly on the inside of all clothing items. DRESS CODE COMPLIANCE Every student is given a two week grace period at the beginning of each school year. There are no consequences if a child is out of dress code for the first two weeks of school. Please refer to the Family Handbook or your child s homeroom handbook for consequences for being out of dress code after the grace period is over. GIRLS UNIFORM EXAMPLES K-5 Chapel Uniform-Must be worn on Wednesdays Girls may choose to wear a Macbeth jumper, shift or skirt. A vest or cardigan sweater is required with the skirt. Students may wear long or short sleeve polo shirts. Optional Blazer may be worn any day of the week and may be substituted for the chapel vest or cardigan sweater. Girls may choose to wear a vest or cardigan in navy blue or red. Everyday Wear Examples Only white shirts may be worn on Chapel Wednesdays May wear a long or short sleeve button down blouse Chapel Wear may also be worn any day of the week P.E. Athletic Wear Navy Blue Skirt Navy Blue Jumper Long or short Sleeve polo shirts in red or white Sweatshirts/ T- shirts may be worn for P.E. but are not required. Navy Blue sweatpants/athletic pants or shorts Fleece Jacket or vest in red or blue may be worn everyday. Navy Blue pants or walking shorts Sweatshirts may be worn everyday except Wednesdays

What NOT to Wear! Pants may not consist of stretchy denim or legging material. No jeggings. Pants may not have holes or be torn/ripped. Athletic Jogger pants may be worn for P.E. but may not be worn for everyday wear LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS! Leggings may never be worn as pants. Leggings may not be worn for P.E. Leggings may be worn under skirts and dresses for warmth but the dress code length of no more than 3 inches still applies. Leggings may not be worn under shorts. Leggings must be one of our uniform colors: black, navy blue, white, or red. Forest Green Cardigan sweaters and vests are no longer permitted this year. We stopped selling them in 2017-18 school year. No Polo Shirt Dresses NON- sweatshirts are not permitted

Chapel Uniform: Chapel Uniform must be worn on chapel day. May also be worn as an everyday choice. Macbeth plaid jumper, shift or skirt (available from Dennis Uniform). Girls must wear the vest with the skirt and cardigan sweater is recommended with jumper/shift Solid White collared blouse, polo shirt or turtleneck Red or Navy Blue cardigan or vest with initials (Available from Dennis Uniform and Tommy Hilfiger) Sweatshirts may not be worn to school on chapel days. PE Uniform: All PE Uniforms are available for purchase through Creative Logo Solutions Red or Navy Blue P.E. T-shirts with logo Navy Blue sweatpants, warm-up pants or athletic shorts. (All pants/short may have thin, white vertical stripes on left/right side of pants. No letters or numbers on pants. 1-inch manufacturer s name/emblem OK). (Color: Navy Blue) No Yoga Pants or leggings Optional sweatshirt with logo. *If name is put on the back, it must only be the student s legal name Regular everyday uniform attire may also be worn on PE days. Athletic shoes and socks are required for P.E. Official athletics/activities sweatpants or t-shirt may be worn on P.E. days only. Jeans without holes are permissible. NO YOGA PANTS Walk-A-Thon Shirt Day: Fourth Friday of each month. WAT shirt must be worn as your top shirt and must be from most recent WAT. Any pants acceptable on free dress days, may be worn with walk-a thon shirt. No non- attire is allowed to cover WAT. No yoga pants. Accessories Hair/Hats and Sunglasses Footwear Free Dress Outerwear Shirts/ Blouses/ Camis Pants/Skirts/ Shorts/ect. Length Criteria Only solid colored belts. Only navy blue, black or brown are allowed. Body Piercing (other than ear lobe) and permanent tattooing are not permitted. Simple jewelry may be worn. Earrings must be stud style. No extremes Make-up must not be worn to school or applied on campus. Baseball caps/hats or sunglasses must be worn in the building except when entering and exiting. Hair must be neat and only in natural tone. Hair must not cover the eyes. No unnatural color hair extensions. If worn (with skirts), only solid color tights or leggings in colors (red, white, black, navy blue) are allowed. Skirts must still be approved length. No flip-flops or slippers or opened toe shoes (with or without back straps) may not be worn to school. Shoes must be worn at all times. Closed toed sandals with back straps may be worn. Free dress days: appropriate, modest clothing. No spaghetti straps or tank tops. Shorts, dresses or skirts must meet length criteria. (Applies even if student is wearing leggings/tights pants/tights underneath) No yoga pants or leggings worn as pants. No frayed or holey jeans. Chapel vest/cardigan may be taken off at recess and PE or if a student is warm, but must be worn in chapel. On chapel days, cardigan sweater or vest, navy blue blazer or fleece zip-up jacket/vest with initials may be worn in the classroom. Classroom approved outerwear - PE sweatshirts, Sports Wear, fleece vest and cardigan vest/sweaters. Coats, NON- sweatshirts and other outerwear may not be worn in the classroom. Tommy Hilfiger or Dennis Uniform sell coats, sweater and jackets ect. with the logo that are approved to wear in the classroom. Coats and other Non- outerwear may not be worn in the classroom. No tight fitting or immodest tops Only uniform white or red, camis or tank tops may be worn under shirts. Skirts, skorts, jumper and long skirts (worn as dresses) hems must meet length criteria even if student is wearing leggings/tights under it. Length of skirts/skorts/free dress outfits is as follow: Measuring from the middle of the back of the knee, clothing must not be any shorter than 3 inches above the knee. This is the minimum length allowed. Garments may be longer. All uniform and non-uniform (PE and free dress included) must comply with length /modesty requirements.

Sweatshirts may be worn everyday except Wednesdays Boys may wear navy pants or shorts. 2018 WAT Shirts may be worn on the 4th Friday of each month with jeans or uniform pants. Navy Blue sweatpants/athletic pants or shorts may be worn for P.E.

Chapel Uniform: Chapel Uniform must be worn on chapel day. May also be worn as an everyday choice. Solid white collared dress shirt, polo shirt or turtleneck. Navy blue trouser or cargo pants or hemmed navy walking shorts. Pants and shirts should be ironed. Red or Navy Blue cardigan or vest with initials (Available from Dennis and Tommy Hilfiger Uniforms). Navy Blue Blazer with initials. May wear blazer instead of vest or cardigan sweater. (Only available from tommy Hilfiger Uniforms) Red or Navy Blue Fleece zip-up jacket or vest with initials. Sweatshirts may not be worn to school on chapel days. PE Uniform: All PE Uniforms are available for purchase through Creative Logo Solutions Red or navy blue P.E. t-shirts with logo Sweatpants, warm-up pants or athletic shorts. (Available from Dennis and Tommy Hilfiger Uniforms). Red or navy blue PE Sweatshirt with logo (only available from Creative Logo Solutions). Free Dress Day: Second Friday of each month. Outerwear On chapel days, the cardigan or vest with initials or approved sweatshirts may be worn for warmth. No other outerwear may be worn in chapel. Classroom approved outerwear - (may be worn every day of the week in class) PE sweatshirts, Sports Wear, fleece vest and cardigan vest/sweaters. Tommy Hilfiger or Dennis Uniform sell coats, sweater and jackets ect. with the logo that are approved to wear in the classroom. Coats and other Non- outerwear may not be worn in the classroom. French Terry Skort from Tommy Hilfiger in tan or navy. Solid Pleated Skort from Tommy Hilfiger in tan or navy. May wear navy blue or khaki/tan walking shorts. A Navy Blue, White, or Red Polo may be worn any day of the week. Optional: Short or long sleeve Peter Pan Collar Blouse from Dennis Uniforms Solid Box Pleat Skirt from Tommy Hilfiger in tan or navy. Chapel Wear may also be worn any day of the week Belted Knife Pleat Skirt from Tommy Hilfiger in tan or navy. P.E. Athletic Wear Girls may wear navy blue or khaki/tan pants or vendor approved skirts any day of the week. Any style athletic shoes mandatory for PE. Sweatshirts/ T- shirts may be worn for P.E. but are not required. Navy Blue sweatpants/athletic pants or shorts may be worn for P.E.
