TEX BIO - D (High Performance Degreasing Enzyme Formulation) Appearance : Brown Colored Liquid Chemical Nature : A Special blend of biodegradable formulated enzymes ph of 10% Solution : 5-6 Moisture : Maximum 4% Shelf Life : Good for 2 years when stored below 30 0 C. TEX BIO - D is a Biodegradable enzyme formulation for degreasing and the product is used before pretanning operations TEX BIO - D can penetrate deeply and disperse the fats effectively. Proper degreasing ensures a good quality in wet blue and finished leathers with out fear of fungus attack. TEX BIO - D is totally free from solvents and hence is of great help to tanner to reduce tannery pollution. TEX BIO - D can be used for degreasing sheep skins of Newzealand, U.K.Saudi Arabia, Spain and other regions. APPLICATIONS Cow & Buffalo Hides: 1% -2% Tex Bio - D in degreasing along with 0.25%-0.5% Tex Wet 100 will give good results in degreasing. Goat & Sheep Skins: After deliming and bating, 0.5%-2.0% TEX BIO - D can be used followed with a good wash Newzealand Pickled : After Depickling to ph 6.0, 2% -5% of Tex Bio - D can be used to achieve good degreasing effect. Skins has to be washed 2-3 times after degreasing to remove the fat. Fat Contents can be brought down from an extreme level of 15.00 to 2.00 Pig Skins Generally pigskin has excess fat and degreasing is a complex operation. A Dosage of 2% - 5% TEX BIO - D may be required to achieve good degreasing. The skins have to be washed 2 or 3 times after degreasing. The degreased skins shall have natural touch with silky grain. APPLICATION As a pretanning agent: LUNATAN PS2 LUNATAN PS2 LUNATAN PS2 LUNATAN PS2 Pretanning (on Pelt weight) is a mellow type of tanning material which protects the grain during pretanning and does not produce any drawness of grain. As such it can be used as a pretanning syntan in vegetable tanning system. mellows down the vegetable tannage and enables the tanning to be carried out with concentrated liquids. The tanning can be completed in shorter duration. can be used in all rapid tanning systems using vegetable tannins. Recommended dosage 2-4% on pelt weight. is compatible with vegetable tannins and can be used along with vegetable tannins during retannage, dyeing and fatliquoring of chrome tanned leather, LUNATAN PS2 can go well with anionic fatliquors. Beneficial effects are achieved when used after fatliquoring in the same bath. It imparts a filling effect to the chrome tanned leather without much of loading. LUNATAN PS2 also improves buffability of the leather after crusting. Recommended dosage: 4-5% on wet blue weight. The pelt pickled to ph 4.0 4.5 are drummed in a float of 50% to which 2 4% of LUNATAN PS2 is added and the drum is run for 45 to 60 which is followed by vegetable tanning in the usual way. Retanning (on pelt weight) Leather after neutralisation to the desired ph and washing are floated with 60% water. LUNATAN PS2 is added to an extent of 4-6% preferably after the addition of part of the fatliquor. This can be followed by dye, balance of fatliquor etc. Exhaustion of fatliquor can be effected as usual by the addition of formic acid. 49
