For study or salvage. 100-200 54 WOOL NEEDLEPOINT PILLOW, 1831 Chamfered rectangle with polychrome floral around central reserve with initials "DLM" and "1831", later velvet backing, (small split to canvas and 1-inch tear). Together with a velvet pillow having colorful hand embroidered design to both sides pieced from a paisley shawl with fancy braided trim, (section of braid unraveled). Good. - 55 THREE FRENCH SILK EMBROIDERED VALANCES, c. 1900 Pink faille decorated with white floral swags, two with scalloped border, one with straight hem, all having short fringe. Fair-good. Good-Excellent 100-150 57 BLACK on BLACK EMBROIDERED DRESS YARDAGE, EARLY 20th C Deep floral embroidery on voile. (Few large holes along top selvedge) usable lengths, good. - 58 METALLIC EMBROIDERED YARDAGE and FRAGMENTS, 1920s One net embroidered with fruits and flowers, one chiffon decorated with gold foliage. Both very good. Together with a floral lamé panel, excellent, and a lamé coat in poor condition. - 59 WOOL BLANKET and YARDAGE, 19th - 20th C Red and tan striped wool blanket/bedcover in two joined 34-inch widths, very good. Red and black buffalo check wool broadcloth yardage. Good-excellent. - 67 LOT of NORMANDY TYPE LACE LINENS, MID 20th C Comprised of a set of eleven oval placemats, four dresser scarves/runners including a matching pair, and five small mats. (Few pieces have minor holes or spots) very good-excellent. - 68 LOT of EMBROIDERED BED LINENS, 1910-1930s One large sheet hand-embroidered with flowers and scrolls having cutwork and inserts of filet lace, (some spots and stains); one large pillow sham or table cover decorated with a hand-embroidered circular floral with drawn threadwork; one set of machine-embroidered bed linens comprised of two top sheets and two pillow cases with a pale grey basket, swags and flowers. Good-excellent. - 69 LOT of FIVE LACE-TRIMMED LINENS, EARLY 20th C Comprised of two round tablecloths, one having cutwork and embroidery; one small rectangle with fine embroidery, cutwork with lace insertions and a filet border, (few tiny spots); one pillow in linen cover with bands of drawn threadwork decorated with raised crochet and cordwork; one pillow covered in linen with with ruffle and inserts of Tenerife lace. Excellent. - 70 LARGE LOT of DOILIES, PLATE LINERS and MATS, EARLY-MID 20th C Including sets, all lace, appliquéd, lace trimmed, and embroidered. Olmstead, dated 1833; one blue and white geometric. All with significant losses and damage. Poor. MFAB - 75 FOUR COVERLETS, EARLY-MID 19th C Two blue and white double cloth in geometric designs; two all white looped cotton with star centers. (Refringed, missing fringe, stains and wear). All pieced cotton, one Rose of Sharon pattern, one sawtooth, and one Grandmother's Flower Garden design. (Soiling, stains to all) fair. Two hand-woven coverlets with allover boteh pattern, one backed in wool, one backed in silk (wear to backing). Good-very good. MFAB - 81 FOUR WOOL PAISLEY LONG SHAWLS, 19th C One green center, one ivory, two black. (One center replaced, scattered holes and tears, fringe losses) good. MFAB - 82 THREE WOOL PAISLEY SHAWLS with HAND EMBROIDERED ELEMENTS, 19th C Two having large black center, hand embroidered borders. One allover paisley with hand embroidered polychrome tabbed border. (Lining destroyed, some age-toning to lace, small faint stain on skirt front, bodice back stained beneath lace, hidden stain on back, scattered tiny marks and snags to satin, splits in train) good. 150-250 192 FRENCH BEADED SILK EVENING DRESS, c. 1910 Ivory with bronze beads decorating the square neck, short sleeve, and hem, the sleeve and skirt sides slit and joined with self lattice, underskirt and square padded train in changeable maize silk, beaded maize waistband and narrow weighted streamer at back. Separate small asymmetrical piece of matching silk with beadwork. (Minor holes, faint stain) good. - 213.1 TULLE SCARF with METALLIC BROCADE, possibly LIBERTY, 1920s Pink tulle with a band of having a printed band of floral chiffon in shades of pink and blue with gold brocade at either end, edged all around with silk and metallic threads, unlabeled.
