Have confidence in your own abilities, learn something new & express yourself creatively. Most people that have learned how to cut their own hair with the Creaclips actually prefer to cut their hair. It s not that they don t like hairstylists, but it s the saving in time, money and styling yourself is fun and can be additive. With nothing more than the Creaclips, a pair of scissors and the required faith in your own hair cutting abilities, you can create unlimited hairstyles in the convenience of your own home while saving time & money. And once your family and friends see that you know how to cut hair they will be asking for a haircut too. Some people want to learn how to cut your own hair to save money and to give themselves the satisfaction of knowing that You know how to cut your own hair. However, most people would find the thought of cutting your own hair a bit scary and dangerous. After all, how do you know what to do and how do you see what you are doing? But don t worry learning how to cut your own hair is not as difficult as you would think. You will be learning techniques on how to cut your own and family s hair at home with a tool that was invented by a professional hairstylist that has over 15 years experience in the hair and beauty industry. She wanted to help her clients keep their hair looking fantastic between visits and invented a tool to allow them to evenly trim their fringes, cut precise layers, and get rid of split ends simply at home that is less expensive. She has advanced training with well known top Academies under Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Sebastian and Wella.

Turn an average haircut into an exceptional one, that make a home haircut look like a professional quality salon cut. Get a precision cut as if you went to a salon right at home. Creaclip will give you the courage and confidence, to creatively experiment cutting your own and families hair in the convenience of your own home. You will achieve something new and take complete control of you own style and length. You know your face, and how you like to wear your hair better than anyone else on the planet! Your haircut doesn't have to be a one-time event; it can be an ongoing experience! And practice really does make perfect. The cost of haircuts at the salon or barber shop add up quickly, especially if you have a hairstyle that requires constant maintenance. Cutting hair at home can reduce your grooming expenses. Some people insist that you should never cut your own hair and should leave the job to professionals. That s all well and good for those who have the extra TIME and MONEY to run to the salon every few weeks. While most of us rely on our trusted beauty salons and hairdressers to experiment with different haircuts, few of us may also like to do the experimentation ourselves. Heading to a reliable salon could be safe, but there is no harm in experimenting right? Cutting your own hair can be quite simple, provided you have the required faith in your own hair cutting skills and the urge to learn how to cut your own hair. Cutting your own hair is all about confidence, creativity, and a willingness to learn. Yes, it may seem like a pretty hairy proposition, but even applying makeup is a major challenge if you ve never done it before.

Just as you approached that skill a little at a time and graduated from painting your nails and applying lip gloss to plucking your eyebrows and choosing the right shade of foundation, you can master the art of the haircut one inch at a time. Creaclip helps you throughout the hair cutting process and in turn creates a great cut. You can also extend the life of your salon cut by several months. Using your current style as a guide, the CREACLIP can be used for spot trimming between haircuts. This technique can be used on existing bangs, on layers on top, around the face, or on entire head. Create a whole new hairstyle or just trim your split-ends! Cut straight bangs, side swept bangs, angled bangs, precise layers, blunt cuts, a-line bobs, shoulder length bobs, curved-shaped, straight across, or even V-Shaped Cuts. Most hairdressers will trim bangs for free, but if you don t have time for a trip to the hair salon, Creaclip will be the solution for you. While you might think that you are incapable of giving yourself a trim or a great new style, it might be easier than you think. Most people say that they would be far too nervous to attempt to cut their own hair. They'd be worried it would look bad, and they'd have no idea where to start. Well like anything it's trial and error, but we would definitely recommend giving it a go. And I think that everyone should try this at least once in their lifetime, because you might just surprise yourself. (In a good way!) It is easy and perfect to get your hair done quickly, without relying on where you are living. Sam McKnight, hairstylist to the stars, said I m all for people doing their own hair.

It shows confidence and individuality. You can lose dry ends, add layers, and even do a whole haircut yourself. You can custom tailor the perfect, face framing haircut for yourself! The best part is you would be saving a lot of time & money. Cut your hair anytime, anyplace. Straight cuts every time! Your goal when cutting your own hair is to totally control it. It would be foolish to take on the action of cutting your hair with disinterest in the event and the outcome. Let s be honest, you want a great even haircut. As you get more comfortable cutting your own hair, you may want to attempt more complicated styles. Cut a little at a time, you can always go back and cut more. Prepare the hair first by thoroughly combing or brushing out all the snarls and tangles. Make sure no hairs are hidden behind the ears or nape of the neck. You can cut straight across for a blunt look or vertical to get that soft textured look just like they do it in the salons. Keep it simple. If you are inexperienced at cutting your own hair and looking for a complicated style with many angles or layers, you will probably need to enlist the help of a friend to be sure that your haircut is even in areas that are difficult for you to reach. It feels so good; you may not want to stop: Like many things in life, cutting your own hair can feel sensational. It's fun; it gives you a special sense of selfconfidence. You can always begin by just trimming the ends, and work your way up as you gain confidence and skill. Learn from the professionals (that's how they learned!): When someone cuts your hair, watch which techniques they use. If he lifts it up with a comb and then cuts it, ask him why. When she reaches for a strange-looking pair of scissors, ask her how they work. Don't be intrusive or impolite; just be curious and conversational. The more you look, listen, and learn, the more you can apply your knowledge at home. When you do go to the salon, pay attention to how your stylist cuts your hair.

It's the perfect place to pick up some helpful tips. The one big advantage of cutting it yourself is that it can give you very good results and you can eventually learn what exactly works for you. Perhaps if you choose, just visit the stylist occasionally for a good overall cut and style. But be forewarned: it feels so good to cut hair that you may start off intending to trim the split ends and wind up with no hair left. Cutting hair can turn into an obsession, like shopping for shoes when there is a two-for-one sale. Start by resisting the urge to wet hair it s actually easier to see what you re doing when it s dry and by using real haircutting scissors (they don t have to be pricey, just specifically designed for hair). If your hair is cut wet, the hair will shrink when dry, so it will look shorter. Creaclip Frequently asked questions. What is CreaClip? The CreaClip is a hair-cutting guide that you can use at home to cut your own or others hair. It is easy to use: Just Clip, Slide, and Cut! Why use the CreaClip? The CreaClip can save you hundreds of rands and hours per year for an entire family. When you cut your hair at home with the CreaClip, you re spending pennies per cut, without the hassle of travelling and waiting. It s also perfect for people who are not physically able to go to a salon, if you ve got a lot of children s hair to cut, if you need a little trim or maintenance between cuts, or if you want to create your own customized style. I already cut my own hair. How can the CreaClip benefit me? When cutting your hair at home, it s hard to cut straight and achieve professional results. You end up cutting more and more to straighten your hair, and before you know it, it s way too short. With the CreaClip s rotating leveller, your cuts are balanced every time.

When can I use the CreaClip? You can use it any time, and any place that is convenient. With the CreaClip, you no longer have to make appointments or travel to get your hair cut. It s also great for trimming and maintaining between salon haircuts. You can take it with you when you travel for business or pleasure. How do I use the level? Follow these steps. 1. Make sure the level is aligned flush horizontally straight on the body of the clip. 2. Clip on the hair as horizontally straight as you can. 3. Wait a few seconds as he level will adjust its self. 4. Once the bubble stops, just slightly tilt the clip a Little too slowly move the bubble in the middle. 5. If you want to move the bubble left tilt clockwise, and vice versa. Does the level need to be in the middle at all times while cutting? Once you start cutting you do not need to focus on the bubble being in the middle. The bubble is just a starting reference point. Once have the clip position, you just need to hold steady in that approx position. While cutting if you happen to move your hand out of position and the bubble moves out of the middle it`s ok, keep cutting just as long as you are in 80% it`s approximate position you will still get great results. Remember you can always stop and start over if you lose position. How do I maintain already existing Bangs? Bangs grow out and need to be trimmed every 3 weeks. This is easy, you don`t need to focus on the level. You just need to focus on sliding the clip down, leaving 1/2 inch of hair extended beneath the clip. Take a little each time you can`t mess up. Using the already existing bangs as a guide. Can I use it on thick hair? Yes, if all of your hair does not fit in the clip. For cutting long hair section from ear to ear horizontally and clip it away and repeat cutting process twice. For extremely thick hair divide hair horizontally into three sections. For bangs, just divide horizontally into two sections. Can you use it on all hair types?

Yes, you can use it on curly or straight, thick or thin hair. First make sure hair is combed, free of tangles. If your hair is really curly, blow dry straight or flat-iron hair before cutting for best results. The unique design flexes to adjust to different thicknesses of hair. If your hair is really thick, divide it into two or three sections, then cut. Does the CreaClip come with any guarantees? Yes but for easier and best results cut on dry hair. Can you use it on wet hair? Yes but for easier and best results cut on dry hair. What maintenance is necessary for the CreaClip? No maintenance is necessary. There are no batteries or assembly, and you can use it over and over. Just brush hair off the CreaClip after each use. If it`d really dirty, a quick cool rinse with soap and water, then air dry should clean it. What sizes does the CreaClip come in? The CreaClip comes in a set of two sizes. The smaller size is great for bangs and trimming men s hair. The larger, curved size is great for long hair and layering. With both in the set you can create unlimited hairstyles. Are only scissors recommended for use with the CreaClip? You can also use trimmers for a easy safe use. Razors are also good for a textured look. Can I create layers and textured cuts? Yes, one way to create texture is to point cut. You can also rotate the leveller to cut at angles and create body and layers within a haircut. Choosing Hair Scissors If you're a dedicated home-trimmer, investing in a pair of professional scissors makes sense. Choose the right length of blade for the type of home-cutting you intend to do. Make sure the finger holes are the right size to comfortably fit your fingers; they should slide in and out of the holes easily without being too loose. Make sure you keep your scissors well maintained with proper servicing - sharpening and repairing - at regular intervals.

Most hair cutting scissors come in stainless steel, and you should see that the steel is strong and durable. It should not be thin or weak. Ensure that the scissors and loops for the finger are the right size, and allow your fingers to go through well. Also make sure that the scissors are a comfortable length to hold and work with. Investing in a good pair of scissors may be a bit more expensive, but they will last you well and make it easy to cut your own hair in layers. It is important to ensure that your scissor edges are always sharp to prevent the hair from breaking or developing split ends. Always remember to keep your hair cutting shears exclusively for your hair, and do not use them to carelessly snip away at anything else. The last thing you need to understand about good hair cutting scissors is that there are a lot of different brands and it will be up to you to determine which ones are the best for you. Our suggestion is that you should try out different hair cutting scissors to cut your own hair before you buy the most expensive ones because you never know if something cheaper will be just as good or not for you. Electric or battery operated Hair trimmers may also be used for cutting hair with the Creaclips. Plastic capes are best as the hair will fall straight to the floor, making it easier to clean up. Cut a hole in an old plastic tablecloth or even a big garbage bag (after all the idea was to save money wasn't it?). Talc, giant clips and a water spray bottle are also quite handy. Oh...and don't forget a good static broom or dust-buster to help with cleaning up. If you don't have a neck duster, we suggest that you put some baby powder on a dry towel and beat/brush the loose hairs off of you. Caution: Be careful! It is easy to snip your fingers along with your hair! To check the back of your hair, stand in front of a mirror and hold a hand-held mirror behind you. Cut horizontally for a blunt look or hold the scissors at a 45 degree angle and cut vertically for a soft textured look.

Split Ends Split ends.the only cure is having it trimmed. Some of the main causes of split ends are excessive treatments to our hair, such as relaxers, and coloring. All of these processes dry out the hair to an extreme and thus the breakage at the ends begins. The ends of our hair are much more delicate than the roots and as excessive drying occurs and the oil from our roots doesn t reach the cuticles, the hair begins to split into two from the end all the way up the shaft. Split ends are like paper. You can stick/tape them back together, but it never gets rid of the tear. By trimming off the damaged ends, you will prevent the hair from breaking further down. Trims should be done at least one-half inch above the split to reduce the chances of additional unravelling and to keep splits from recurring, regular trims are recommended every 4-6 weeks and with the Creaclip you can do it in the convenience of your own home. Here are some tips to have beautiful hair: Let your hair dry naturally. The heat hairdryers produce dries your hair out and causes breakage. Condition your hair once a week with a deep conditioning treatment to replace lost moisture and nutrients. Avoid hair dyeing. The hydrogen peroxide and ammonia contained in many dyes damages the structure of your hair. Your hair will not repair itself healthy new hair must grow in to replace it. Have a healthy diet. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables, lean protein, dairy and whole grains and vitamin supplements containing vitamins B6, A, C and D this will give your body resources to produce beautiful and healthy hair. Layered hair

Layer your own hair and get rid of split ends for healthy looking hair. There are a lot of benefits in learning how to cut your hair in layers with the Creaclip. People of any age group can wear a layered hair cut style and doing it yourself will save you a lot of time and money! Hair can be cut into many layers. Layered hair looks great on long hair. You can add different sized layers according to your facial shape. If you have thin hair then layers can add a volume to the hair. Another advantage of adding layers is, it can prevent your hair from split ends or any other damages. Very thick and healthy hair also looks lightened by cutting it into many layers. The layered hair cut style requires low maintenance. For very curly hair You can use Creaclip on curly or straight, thick or thin hair. First make sure hair is combed, free of tangles. If your hair is really curly you can decide to blow dry straight or flat-iron hair before cutting for best results. The unique design flexes to adjust to different thicknesses of hair. If your hair is really thick, divide it into two or three sections, and then cut. You also do not have to straighten curly hair before cutting it with Creaclip. Use Creaclips on dry hair! (Cutting hair dry, gives you a more precise cut!) TIP: Blow dry and straighten your hair before you cut if desired. People with curly, wavy or coarse hair may feel that it is even a bigger challenge to trim their hair. Since these type of hair textures typically grow at various lengths it is often better to continue with that growth. You can easily position the Creaclip to cut certain sections of your hair, which will also allow for you to create layers. You may position the clip the same way as you would with straight hair. Creaclip can easily be used on curly hair, to trim bangs and also add layers. If looking to create bangs Creaclip comes with a smaller device to cut your bangs. The clip can even be positioned to cut at an angle or even a blunt. If you have thick curly hair it is better to cut at an angle to reduce volume. You want to know the secret to get a really spectacular hair cut. Top stylists have learned a skill that's been passed down from stylists to stylist- the dry cut. It's not taught in schools; the art of dry cutting is when a stylist washes, dries, flat irons

and styles the hair before cutting the hair. You can see where the hair puffs up or which direction it wants to go, this way, so your cut is comes out perfect! And dry cutting is also PERFECT for you FRINGE! CreaClip + Scissors VS Regular Comb + Scissors Here s what your regular comb lacks in comparison to the CreaClip: With a regular comb you can never get the perfect level. But with CreaClip clipped on your hair and the bubble balanced in the middle there's not much to getting the perfect level. A regular comb cannot be used to get a haircut yourself since you would have to hold the comb in one hand and the scissors in the other, all the while making sure that you re not snipping off extra. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1. Use on clean, dry hair. 2. Use a mirror when cutting your own hair. 3. Comb out all the knots and tangles. 4. Use sharp haircutting scissors. 5. Sit or stand straight up before you cut. 6. The level is balanced when the bubble is between the two white lines. For layering you take all of your hair and put it in the front of your head then place the clip evenly and cut then perfect layers! You can cut using scissors or trimmers. Scissors will give you a textured look like they do in salons and trimmer will snip it straight across (blunt). CLEANING AND STORING

1. Clean after every use with toothbrush and shampoo. 2. Store in cool, dry place. 3. If the bubble in the level separates, simply tap the edge of the CREACLIP lightly against the palm of your hand to merge the bubbles back together. If you have any questions regarding the Creaclips or on different styles and videos, please feel free to email us at any time and we will do our best to answer them for you, to the best of our ability. info@creaclip.co.za Creaclip will give you value for years to come. Beauty can be accentuated with creativity. Choose a hair cut from our tutorial videos and cut your hair accordingly. Be it bangs layers or a simple straight cut. You don't know that you're great at something until you try it! Happy Creating!
