The result was an increase in their bone mineral density by a statistically significant 2.00% compared to placebo, measured at the critical thigh bone. It s important to note that the 2.00% rise in BMD was the result of an actual increase in bone formation not merely a lessening of bone loss. But there s an even greater reason why ch-osa is the focus of such intense research today.

Increase your resistance to impact by adding bone flexibility Preventing fractures requires bone flexibility. Or as bone researchers like to say, bone toughness. Here the brittle calcium in bone can do little. But this is where the collagen content of your bone takes over. Bone collagen is extremely flexible. Something like rubber. When collagen receives a blow it simply bends slightly and returns to its form. That s why collagen gives your bones their ability to withstand impact reducing the risk of fracture.
