OPERATION 3: PURCHASING SUPPLIES Prepare School Supplies ORDER ONLINE: Click here to order your child s supplies (use code MER093), which will be delivered to your child s desk on the first day of school. TECH SUPPLIES Be on the look out for a tech email coming soon to grades 4-8! Each student in grades 4-8 will be issued an ipad for the 2015-16 school year. These students must purchase an ipad case and stylus. PLEASE DO NOT purchase a case until you are provided with more information about the type of ipad your child will be receiving as well as the cases we recommend to help prevent damage to the devices.
OPERATION 3: PURCHASING UNIFORM WEAR Familiarize yourself with the Midtown Uniform Policies Where can I buy items? Does every shirt need a logo? What color options do we have? What can be worn on spirit days? Purchase uniform pieces, as needed Shop online Shop in store Uniform lists are available at the online & local store and include all items (bows, socks, shirts, pants, shorts, etc). Shoes & socks can be purchased elsewhere but must follow uniform guidelines. Purchase spirit wear, as needed Use the order form to purchase awesome new spirit wear from our school shop!
Regular Uniform Days are Monday - Thursday. Students wear collared, logo polo shirts (3 color options) and uniform bottoms. Bottoms can be in the form of shorts, pants, or dresses & skirts in navy, khaki, grey, or our uniform plaid. Spirit Days are held each Friday. The first Friday of each month is a high dress day. Other spirit days include Free Dress, Class Color Day, and Merryhill Day. For high dress, students must wear an oxford, logo shirt and uniform bottoms (preferably grey bottoms for boys and plaid dress/skirt for girls). On class color days, students wear their class color tees with uniform bottoms. On Merryhill spirit days, students can wear their favorite spirit wear tops with uniform bottoms. UNIFORM DAYS
Uniform Policies: Purchasing: Our uniform vendor is True Grits which carries all items and sizes. Families can also work with them on custom sizing as they will make half sizes and custom pieces. If the fit/style continues to not work for your child, please contact Mrs. Ondrof for alternatives. Tops: Families do NOT need to purchase every item in every color. Many options are available. Polo shirts, short & long sleeve, come in navy, white, or light blue with the Merryhill crest. All polo shirts, oxford shirts, & dresses MUST have a Merryhill embroidered crest/logo. Oxford shirts are white with Merryhill crest. This is no longer required for JrKindergarten. All students are required to have a class color t-shirt for field trips and other events. These are purchased through the School Spirit Shop. Dresses: Dresses & jumpers are available at True Grits in uniform colors and our gray plaid. As requested, a long sleeve navy cotton dress is also now available, with crest, at Land s End. UNIFORM POLICIES CONTINUED Bottoms Shorts & pants must be khaki, navy or gray Skirt options are khaki, navy, gray or the gray plaid Outerwear Sweaters, fleece jackets, & sweatshirts must be purchased from the uniform vendor or the School Spirit Shop Outdoor jackets for recess time may be in any color & style Optional navy blazers are available Other Socks & tights should be in uniform colors (black, gray, white, navy, khaki), and new, stylish socks for boys are available at the School Spirit Shop Shoes can be in the form of sneakers/athletic shoes, boots, loafers, or flats. Color & style is flexible (just no neon, fur, fringe, sequins, lights, etc) Ties are optional PE wear required for grades 5-8
