What is Psoriasis? Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that affects the regeneration of skin cells. T cells are white blood cells that regulate the body s immune system. In psoriasis, T cells become over activated, which triggers an inflammatory response that leads to the accelerated production of skin cells. Normal skin cells grow, mature and are shed as part of a naturals cycle that takes 28 to 30 days, however, in psoriasis, the process accelerates to approximately 7 times faster, and results in poorly formed outer cells that do not shed properly. Instead, the accumulated dead skin cells pile up and produce the associated scaling, creating sores or lesions often called plaques. Moisturize as often as possible East sensibly and avoid known triggers Follow a sensible eating plan e.g. that of the Heart Foundation On the Body: 1. Wash body gently using a non-irritant soap (glycerin soap) 2. Lightly apply ExoreX 1% to the affected areas 3. ExoreX should dry within 2 to 3 minutes, if not, you have used too much. 4. Once ExoreX is completely dry and absorbed into the skin, apply ExoreX Moisturizer 5. Repeat 2 to 3 times daily, ensuring lesions are clean and dry ExoreX Moisturizers If a lesion is red and/or warm, use ExoreX in diluted form.
On the Scalp: 1. Shampoo hair then towel dry 2. Comb hair and divide into paths 3. Lightly apply ExoreX 1% with index finger to the affected areas and allow to dry for 2 to 3 minutes 4. Apply ExoreX Leave On Scalp Conditioner to the roots and only to the affected areas on the scalp. Do not rinse off. 5. Blow dry or let hair dry naturally 6. Repeat 2 to 3 times daily. The ExoreX medication and Conditioner can be applied without washing hair. Finger & Toe Nails: 1. Cut the nails as short as possible 2. Apply ExoreX 1% in a 1-part ExoreX to 10-parts distilled water dilution to the nails and around the nail bed initially 3. Gradually decrease the water in the dilution until you are using ExoreX at full strength over a period of a week 4. If it doesn t dry in 2 to 3 minutes, you have used too much Apply the ExoreX Moisturizing Cream on the same areas. It can be applied frequently and as often as desired.
