COMPANY PERSPECTIVES ounded as Camiceria Roller S.r.l. who has F produced for 50 years shirts and jackets sewn by F L O W E R S hand, with the evolution of the market changes its name in 2014 in M.I.L.S. s.r.l. The company is a family business that still remains true to the ideals of its founder Giuseppe Muscariello. All our efforts converge on the attainment of utmost quality. every step of the way, from selection of the finest raw materials to development of innovative customer relations. Giuseppe Muscariello always took a concrete interest in the welfare of his company. And his sense of responsibility endures as a basic principle of our family. Inspired by my father s legacy, I am carrying on his work ahead to starting from the past. More than 95 percent of the company s sales is achieved outside of Italy, primarily through selected boutique and luxury department stores. Asia and Europe are the company s largest market, at 75 percent of sales, followed by North America. The company forecast to expand his business in China, one of the group s fastest-growing markets. To reach this target the company aims on luxury and on style of Mario Muscariello Sartoria. M.I.L.S., acronym of Muscariello Industrie Lusso Sartoriale is totally controlled by his family Since 2000, the company manufactures and distributes a unique brand with 2 (labels) distinct lifestyles that often they find a way to come together, giving life to a contemporary style. The label Mario Muscariello Napoli are two the ready to wear collections -one in summer and one in winter, while the black label Mario Muscariello Sartoria can be purchased exclusively made-to-measure. FAMILY ROOTS Giuseppe Muscariello was just 18 years old when he began his business in Napoli. This city is famous for different reason worldwide, but particularly for his shirts and suits. Giuseppe s grandmother, Anna was a popular shirtmaker in the city since end of 1800. His tailoring techniques have been transferred from generation to generation until ro arrive today. Techniques made of precise and slow movements. Rules to respect and very passion for reach to perfection. At that time, the apprentice spent the first year just watching it without ever picking up a needle and thread it. The tailoring heritage of family was transferred as a precious family seal, before to the daughters Giuseppina and Enza and then to the nephew Giuseppe who using his innate ability to do business, in 1964 has established CAMICERIA ROLLER S.r.l. By the beginning of 1997s, Mario enter to work in the company as fashion designer. He has created the CapriShirt very popular in Japan, but also the ShirtJacket. Year by year, he has introduced several new until to arrive to have an internal jacket production. It was 2007. In 2013, Mario and Giuseppe with the approach of the 50th year of preparing for a new challenge, working on the creation of the first man signed Muscariello total look. Direct workers with decades of experience in the field of tailoring and external partners with recognized professional and commercial reliability are the production power of the company. The production is made for 100% in Italy. The company is investing in the training of new young workers with the aim of lowering the average age of their tailors to 30 years old, to ensure that the sartorial tradition could have a future. YOUR TIMELIFE the CONCEPT One day I was in London on business. A long meeting to select high-quality fabrics to make jackets. In the evening I went outside to distract myself and eat something. I chose a nice trendy pub, when suddenly a person who I had never seen before, came up and greeted me in a friendly way. I thought I did not know him, but instead he was the same person with whom I spent the afternoon to work. The time dedicated to screw a tiny screw of a fine watch, but also the natural need to get a good wine or a good brandy.
