BOOTS Sales Advisor Feedback on brands General Notes Fragrance Counter Overall gift is a good selling tool, they don t always have GWP as it depends on season etc. Not as many GWP in store for Mothers Day gifting in particular, the popular sellers were in skin care. Consumers actually like gifts, and often purchase a fragrance based on simple fact that there is a free gift with it the non brand loyal consumers. Sometimes gifts are not preferred due to sizes or colours in which case some consumers purchase other fragrances if they prefer their gift, if any. Gift sets are always popular at boots, there are offers on quite often and gift sets also sometimes are priced same as buying a single fragrance so often it is a great seller for consumers at any season.

Debenhams Sales Advisor Feedback on brands General Notes Fragrance Counter GWP always helps boost sales of fragrances, whether it is a new launch or promo. Many times one item is displayed well on the fixture where the fragrance is clearly visible for consumer, and the balance is behind the counter. By these being displayed it allows consumer to touch/feel item and in a way sometimes persuades consumer to go for that other than other fragrances, those who are not loyal to a brand. Gift sets are always popular, especially during Christmas or special occasions, however not to many during Mothers day period. There were more GWP than gift set around. Beauty and skin care had more gift set options, and more online than in store.

Sales Advisor Feedback on brands General Notes YSL Large size pouch offered with full size bottle of fragrance and lipstick. Great value for money for a consumer great gift set. Fragrance Counter Not many gift sets around at HOF, there were GWP. Gift sets work well in Christmas, and other seasons when GWP are around they work well also. Great selling tool, for new fragrances and not so new fragrances. The idea of getting a free gift is liked by many of our consumers, although there are some who do believe the quality is not always good on some items. Sometimes known to be too cheap for HOF. MK bag was completely sold out within the first week of receiving the stock of GWP. This sold very well with the fragrance. It was large and qualitative and strong. There was none left in store visit.

Sales Advisor Feedback on brands General Notes Fragrance Counter A few GWP in store, and not many gift sets. There are more GWP at this time than gift sets. Most beauty counters will have gift sets like Clarins or L Occitane or Clinique. Overall the GWP always works well as a selling tool for consumers, and especially at this time of the year for Mothers day, when consumers are purchasing for their mums, when there is an additional gift involved the sale is often closed very quickly and easily. This also applies to gift sets as well, as the prices tend to be same or similar to purchasing a single fragrance so you benefit from the gift set, even if end user does not like the items in gift set. Often some consumers are fussy with the products they receive free and tend to not buy a gift set, but generally works well. Some gifts are not always advertised well in terms of their display and cards etc, often they are placed inside drawers and consumers can easily miss off the offer. Sometimes the gift is displayed outside for consumer to see/touch and this is often better for consumer to review themselves instead of assistant pushing the sale. They feedback to their visual display teams the feedback from consumers and their thoughts of how well or not it has worked.

Sales Advisor Feedback on brands General Notes A Few GWP displayed around the counters and behind glass cabinets, however not many gift set in store. The assistant advised there are more gift sets and GWP offers online than in store. The MK bag which was displayed at the front of the store, was very popular for them this time, it really helped sell the fragrance and was a nice large tote bag liked by many consumers. Some old promotions were kept in the back and we being offered with any purchase of that particular fragrance just so the assistants offer these to get rid of stock, if people ask for any GWP.
