Thank you for your interest in hosting a clothing drive in support of Dress for Success Vancouver. Professional attire provided to Dress for Success Vancouver (www.dressforsuccess.org/vancouver) will be given to our referred women for interviews and employment. These clothing donations will enable our clients to begin to build a professional wardrobe. Please read through the following details and submit your registration (page 3) to Jen at jnewstead@dfsvancouver.org DONATION GUIDELINES We accept clean & ready-to-wear, new and gently-used, women s professional attire of all sizes including: Modern two-piece suits Blazers Dress pants Skirts Dresses Dress shirts and blouses Cardigans Purses Accessories: Jewelry, belts Professional outerwear: coats, scarves and gloves Dress shoes & boots New (unopened) toiletries, hygiene & grooming products Our greatest needs are for: Women s clothing in size 0-2 and 14+ Women s shoe sizes 4.5-6 and 10+ Purses We kindly ask that all donations be dry-cleaned or laundered and donated neatly folded in large reusable bags or boxes. Please do not donate clothing in grocery or garbage bags or on hangers. Donations in grocery or garbage bags will NOT be accepted. 1

We are open for clothing donation deliveries Thursdays from 2pm-7pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm. Please contact our office to confirm your delivery date and time along with an approximate number of boxes/bags of clothing being delivered. Please buzz #0100 for access when you arrive. Donations can be brought to the Mezzanine level via the elevator. Paid parking can be found behind our building off of Granville Street. * Donation terms: Donated garments that are workplace appropriate will be used in our boutique and provided to our clients. Items that are deemed unsuitable for the boutique might be sold at very low price points to help individuals in need access quality clothing while raising funds for our charitable initiatives. If unsold, they will be redistributed through other community programs. 2

Career Services are available to our clients through mock interviews, specialized workshops and support in our Career Centre. Once clients are employed, they are encouraged to join our Professional Women's Group to further develop their skills. Providing these important services requires more than clothing contributions. Your donation can make a profound difference in supporting woman through the process unemployment to economic independence. Thank you very much for your help!
