SALON ETIQUETTE Our therapists are trained to respect the privacy of our clients and to create a comfortable and relaxing environment. As a courtesy to our clients we request that mobile phones be switched off while in the salon and that if you must bring children into the salon they are supervised at all times. At Sibu Beauty we appreciate a quiet and tranquil environment. We kindly ask for a 24 hour cancellation notice so that we can accommodate another client from our waiting list. Please arrive five minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Arriving late will possibly interfere with your treatment, making it not as effective or therapeutic for you. All appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next guest will not be delayed. Treatment times are not extended based on late arrivals and if necessary we may need to reschedule your appointment for a later date. Please notify our receptionist before booking treatments if you are pregnant, have allergies, any physical ailments or disabilities. This will prepare our staff in advance to provide the best possible salon experience for you. If you are unwell at the time of your appointment we kindly ask that you reschedule. When receiving your treatment, the therapist will address your needs based on your personal assessment. You may also communicate to us how you are feeling during your service and please advise your therapist if there is anything specific you would like them to address. Prior to a tanning appointment please ensure that all waxing services are performed at least 24 hours in advance and that your skin is freshly exfoliated. On arrival of your appointment your skin should be free of perfumes, moisturisers, deodorant and make-up. Your therapist will inform you of after-care maintenance to extend the life of your tan. Following waxing you should avoid the sun, solariums, spa baths, chlorinated pools, and exfoliating for 48 hours. Following bikini, g-string and Brazilian waxing it is best to avoid tight underwear for 24 hours. For best results you should maintain a regular moisturising and exfoliating routine. Please inform your therapist of any changes to your daily routine that may impact your treatment. Please speak to your therapist if you have any questions. Deposit and Cancellation Policy For appointments over one and a half hours in duration, we require a $60 deposit at the time of booking the treatment and for appointments over two and a half hours we require a $100 deposit at the time of booking.
