CRITERIA FOR PATIENT SELECTION Assessment of the type of skin: patient should have good skin quality. Very thick skin Good adipose tissue Very thin skin If the subdermal fat layer in heavy faces or in overweight people is too thick, this risks compromising the proper anchorage of the cones and constitutes a factor of recurrence to the original state due to the strong tension applied to the threads. Tip: Being able to lift the patient's tissue with the fingers up to one cm more or less is a guarantee of good results with Silhouette Soft threads. Very wrinkled, or excessively marked skin cannot be tightened except through surgical lift. If the subdermal fat layer is too thin, this may be an obstacle to appropriately inserting the threads (too deep or too superficial).
