DESERT magazine magazine website social newsletter 2017-2018 SEASON T From artistic enclaves to burgeoning gastronomy, a new wave of hip Gen-Xers, millennials and baby boomers are reinventing the identity of the Coachella Valley. These movers and shakers are at the heart of a rapidly expanding community in the Southern California desert seeking out a beauty that echoes the surrounding landscape and cultivating their own. With in-depth storytelling and commanding imagery, DESERT magazine dives beneath the surface of this movement and captures the details often left undiscovered. We are propelled by an adventurous spirit and eclectic mix of personalities, and we place value on protecting and preserving the environment that surrounds us. As a lifestyle publication, DESERT magazine encourages thoughtful and responsible living; in every issue, expect inspiration for sustainable dining, eco-conscious design and style, and more. The valley and nearby regions are ripe for exploration, and DESERT magazine is a guide for the journey. To bring these stories to life, we launched DESERT Adventure Club a series of events for the body, mind and spirit offering readers the chance to be immersed in the rich experiences presented on our pages. We pride ourselves on exposing our audience to the unexpected.
