DESERT Adventure Club DESERT Adventure Club is a community of individuals who want to explore the beauty of the desert with others who share the same adventurous spirit. Each month, we host exclusive outings for the mind, body and spirit that allow our readers to experience the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas like never before. STARGAZING IN JOSHUA TREE: This highly interactive, interpretive tour of the desert night skies paired highpowered telescopes with Sky Watcher Tours Sky Guides who combined mythology and science with a splash of entertainment. ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP SHIBORI WORKSHOP: The creative souls of Makerville led us through the ancient Japanese indigo dyeing technique before teaching us how to create our own masterpieces with the in-house dye baths.
