How to start Hi There! Do you want a gorgeous wedding hairstyle but don't want to spend hundreds of dollars? I understand and I have some tips I hope you will find helpful. Let's get started. The biggest tip I can give you is It's easier to work with hair that is wet roller set. Preparing your hair correctly FOR your desired finished style is key to success. Wet setting your hair is easy and your style will last all day and night. The hair is easier to work with and another benefit is your hair will be much shinier. Page 1
How to place your rollers and the size to use The placement of your rollers is very important. If you need your hair to have a lot of volume but still be sleek and not curly. Use very large rollers. Your hair should wrap around the roller at least one full turn so you can pin it and it will stay put while drying. Section a small piece of hair starting at the crown, comb it straight up and roll your hair placing the roller finally on top of the part. This gives your roots a lot of height. I f you want your hair to be close to your scalp, lay the rollers after the sectional part, laying the roots flat on your head. Do not use heat to dry your hair. Let it dry naturally for the most enduring shine. Give your self time to practice different sets for the best final hairstyle you want. Another thing you are going to want to test is the products your using. Make sure they will endure for the whole day giving you confidence your hair looks the best it ever has! Page 2
Page 3 For long hair, the return of braids and twists but styled in new ways, is very popular now. Tousled, textured and perfectly imperfect messy hair is the perfect way to showcase ombre coloring techniques. The Crown Braid How To Do It, Step by Step Step 1 Brush your hair to be sure it is knotless. Part your hair down the middle all the way to the nape of your neck, splitting your hair into two large sections. Step 2 Pin one section out of the way. Take a small section of hair right by your part line on the opposite side of the pinned section, and begin a dutch braid. Step 3 Keep your braid close to your hair line, passing close to your ear and perpendicular to you neck, so it forms a moon like crescent. When you have run out of hair to add into the braid, braid normally until you run out of hair, then secure braid with an elastic. step 4 Un in the other section of your hair, flip your head upside down, and brush that half from your neck towards your forehead. Step5 Pick up a small section of your hairbeside your part line by your neck and begin a dutch braid. Step 6 Keeping your braid close to your hairline, braid toward your ear. Then toward your part line, making the halp moon shape as the other braid. Page 6
Step 7 When you run out of hair to add into your braid, continue braiding normally until you run out of hair. Secure braid with an elastic. Step 8 Take the end of the braid you just finished and tuck it close to the beginning of your other braid On the inside of the first band, then secure with bobby oins. Step 9 Do the same with the end of the other braid. Hair spray and enjoy your awesome hair style! Page 7
This year will see many brides wearing chic ponytails down the aisle. We ll be seeing glamorous high set wavy ones positioned at the crown to low set ponies tied at the nape of the neck. For a more polished look, plump up your pony and wrap a strand of hair to cover the elastic. Finish with a pony tail wrap, cuff or velvet ribbon. Page 8
If you re looking for a veil, I suggest positioning a sheer, simple fingertip or chapel-length veil from the top of the crown or just above the updo. These hairstyles will work perfectly with or without a veil and with or without embellishments. Position your wedding comb directly above your updo, if the knot volume isn t too grand; or just underneath to create a beautiful waterfall-like image. Or add some shimmer to your look with shimmering hair combs or perhaps rhinestones, why not, right? This is Your day! Page 9
The veil above I am in love with! The flower crown and little yellow roses is simple but full of personality. Any bride looking for a more casual, natural theme for her wedding would not fail to delight with this veil. These two very long and flowing cathedral style veils are stunning and have a charming air of old fashion glamour. Page 10
