WELCOME TO SOCIAL PANTRY With a dedicated team of experienced chefs, event planners and serving staff, Social Pantry is the go-to London caterer. Social Pantry was born out of adoration for Fresh, Seasonal and Delicious food; providing stylish event & contract catering to a wide range of clients across London. Founded in 2010 by Alex Head, Social Pantry takes pride in its bespoke and creative menus, attention to detail and incredibly personable service. Alex leads a team of 25 full time staff across 3 sites in London and is supported by a loyal network of local suppliers.
Social Pantry enjoy the creative challenge and take pride in turning concepts and ideas into a reality. Often working to tight deadlines and budgets, we work closely with our clients and their specific briefs. By using original ideas and delicious menus, we create memorable and exciting events. Alex and the team closely follow food and dietary trends to ensure we are consistently designing unique and innovative menus across our wide range of services. Giving our clients and guests a fun, stylish and different food experience which gets people talking is what makes Social Pantry so unique. Our highly experienced and dedicated teams of Chefs understand and appreciate the nature of specialist diets whether it is Gluten Free, Vegan, Paleo, Dairy Free or many more - we ensure that we still provide delicious alternatives to a high standard that leave everyone feeling well catered for and not excluded.

Every venue is unique, and Social Pantry takes pride in building strong and reputable relationships with it s partners to ensure that events are delivered seamlessly right through from brief to execution.
OUR VALUES Social Pantry is well known and respected for using the highest quality produce from local suppliers. We takes enormous pride in ensuring that our ingredients are seasonal, sustainable and of the highest quality. Sustainable, local and seasonal approach: Social Pantry ensure that all of our suppliers are respected and regarded for providing the best quality and well sourced ingredients. We always use fresh, seasonal and local ingredients from environmentally sustainable sources. Minimising our impact on the environment: We look to be a part of the recycling chain in every possible way from our disposable food packaging to our old coffee granules - they go to a lovely allotment to help improve soil quality. Positively contributing to our community: Social Pantry are extremely proud to support great causes and contributing to helping our local community. It can be as simple as as using a few brilliant suppliers currently we work with Thrive, a charity garden center in Battersea Park who supply table plants for our café and use suppliers such as Bad Boys Bakery, a bakery initiative run from Brixton HM prison helping convicts to prepare for life after prison. Social Pantry also play more active roles with helping to feed the homeless at the Chelsea Shelter, something Alex, founder and owner Social Pantry, regularly assists with on a weekly basis. We are also currently working closely with the charity Key4Life and offering employment within Social Pantry for ex offenders.
