3 RECORD TURNOUT AT LOCAL UNIFORM ELECTIONS As the recent local body elections played out around NZ the folks at Arrow Uniforms held their own version with candidates from all areas of the business advancing their respective policies and all jostling for attention. 5 WHAT IS A TABARD? This slightly unusual name refers to an apron more commonly known around NZ as a Popover Apron. This is possibly because you simply Pop it over your head and tie it around your waist. Easy to issue, easy to wear and easy to care for especially if you buy it in the Stain Release version which is our most popular variety. Popover Aprons are a versatile product and recognised immediately in the service sector as an item that can protect those in the front line whether it is in the catering sector or cleaning up somewhere. 8 A PRIME SPOT FOR A PRIME TEAM At Arrow, we have an excellent building location, right next to State Highway 2 in Melling, Lower Hutt. Our 30,000 square foot complex is about the same size as a soccer field and houses our sales team as well as administration, design and logistics operations. There s a lot of stock coming and going daily, as well as thousands of vehicles passing every day on the highway opposite. The Arrow billboards mounted high on the skyline are visible to around 50,000 people, giving us the opportunity to showcase our product, and from time to time poke a little fun at something topical as the occasion allows.
