Gillings School of Global Public Health Employees from the Wetlands and Permitting Unit of the (NCDWQ) were selected for a pilot study conducted by researchers at The University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health because of the high number of workrelated tick bites in previous years. One group of employees wore Insect Shield clothing while another group wore untreated clothes.
