20 So how eco-frien amenities? 20 Here at Molton Brown we ve got a great respect for Mother Nature (after all, she s helped us create each and every product). And that s part of the reason why we continually look for ways we can make our processes more eco-friendly, from the packaging we use to the ingredients we blend. INGREDIENTS We re always looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint here at Molton Brown, so when we re searching the globe for our exotic ingredients, we try to make our steps as eco-friendly as possible. We get our naturally derived ingredients from sustainable sources around the world, often helping to stimulate the economies of developing countries along the way. The perfect balance of natural actives with some magic from our guys in white coats is what makes our products unique. We re proud of our blends, so we won t ever mislead customers into thinking they re 100% natural or organic. We only use preservatives that are safe (and legal) in cosmetic products all over the world. PRODUCTS We re internationally renowned for our compliance with packaging waste legislation. This is partly because of our participation in the EU s Green Dot Program. This symbol lets your guests know that our packaging is recyclable and is part of the collection/sorting process with participating EU states. An independent testing company runs all our skin, eye and SPF tests on volunteers (people we never test on animals). In fact, we have been awarded the Leaping

MANUFACTURING All our hotel amenities are made in the UK. 98% of our waste is recycled. We ve brought in new technology to separate and recycle materials used in the manufacturing process. Now, all of our accessory items and soaps have been repackaged in 100% recyclable cartons and wrappers. Housed in our iconic bottles made of PET 1 (the most environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable plastic), our blends are reassuringly paraben-free. 21
