2 UVODNIK Perforacije su nastale kao festival koji je imao za cilj podržati nezavisnu scenu koprodukcijama, okupljanjem u program koji bi garantirao vidljivost u domaćem i međunarodnom kontekstu. Dugogodišnja disperzija energije i sustavna izoliranost rezultirala je zamorom na sceni koji je gušio kreativnost i inicijativu. Tijekom proteklih pet godina aktivnosti festivala, uz nekoliko drugih sličnih platformi usmjerenih na produkciju na nezavisnoj sceni, rezultirale su brojnim novim predstavama, međunarodnim turnejama i suradnjama koje se sljedećih godina trebaju još jače njegovati i potencirati. Kroz Perforacije smo otvorili mogućnosti intenzivnih međunarodnih suradnji, otvorile su se nove koprodukcijske šanse, rezidencijalne razmjene, prilike koje ne želimo propuštati. Istovremeno, ovim velikim otvaranjem festivala prema domaćoj sceni postavilo se pitanje fokusa i naših kapaciteta, i najavom ovogodišnjeg festivala zapravo najavljujemo promjenu smjera Perforacija ka sužavanju programa što će nam omogućiti kroz strožu programsku selekciju zapravo jaču financijsku i operativnu potporu domaćim umjetnicima. Naznake takvog programa se naziru i u ovogodišnjem festivalskom izdanju, koji je unatoč velikom broju produkcija i koprodukcija koncentriraniji u svojoj želji za traženjem autentičnosti umjetničkog izraza, stvaranjem dugoročnih suradnji s umjetnicima koje smo do sada podržavali. Perforacije se jače pozicioniraju na domaćoj plesnoj sceni kroz nekoliko nama bitnih suradnji s Martinom Nevistić te Brunom Isakovićem. U svojoj stalnoj misiji jačanja performerskih impulsa nastavljamo s Noći performansa, ovaj puta u tri grada tijekom festivala, a i naša dugogodišnja posvećenost povezivanja arta i tema vezanih uz klimatske promjene ove se godine kroz festival ogleda u programu međunarodnih gostovanja među kojima se ističu Graeme Miller i Heather Cassils. Zvonimir Dobrović, umjetnički direktor Perforations festival was founded with the idea to support the local and regional independent arts landscape wtih coproductions, putting together a program which would generate visibility in local and international context. Yearlong dispersion of energy and a systematic isolation of the local independent artists by the institutions resulted with a sort of fatigue which affected creativity and ambition. After the past five years of Perforations festival, as well as several other similar platforms focused on the local productions, we can see a different creative space now, numerous new international tours by Croatian artists and cooperations which should be supported and facilitated even more in the coming years. With Perforations we have tapped onto intense international collaborations, we opened new co-production possibilities, residency exchanges and other opportunities we do not want to let pass us by. At the same time, by opening the festival so widely towards the local artistic scene a question of focus and our own capacity has arisen and we are using the announcement of this year s festival to introduce a change in the direction of Perforations towards narrowing of our programs which will allow us to support artists we wish to support in a more meaningful financial and operative way in the future. The hints of that programming are visible in this year s edition which in spite of numerous artistic projects we supported, shows a more concentrated desire to search for authentic artistic expression and to form long term collaborations with artists. Perforations festival is also going to position itself much stronger on the local dance scene through cooperations with artists who are very valuable to us, like Martina Nevistić and Bruno Isaković. In our constant mission of strengthening performance art and its impulses we are continuing with the Night of Performances, this time in three cities, and our longyear dedication to connect art and subjects related to climate change in this year reflects in the international program, among which are names like Graeme Miller and Heather Cassils. Pita se mlada autorica projekta za koju je ovaj performans oslobađanje, on je slika svega navedenoga. On se direktno odnosi na publiku koja sluša i gleda. «Vi nemate pojma kako se ja sad osjećam. Vi nema te pojma tko sam ja. Vi nemate pojma zašto sam ja sretna I nesretna. Selma Selman rođena godine u Bihaću, Bosna i Hercegovina. Studentica je Akademije umjetnosti u Banja Luci te je, kako sam kaže, pripadnica Romske nacije, umjetnosti i damskog staleža. Selma Selman rođena je u Bihaću, Bosna i Hercegovina. Studentica četvrte godine Akademije umjetnosti u Banja Luci, smjer slikarstvo, u klasi profesora Vese Sovilja. Pripadnica Romske nacije, umjetnosti i damskog staleža. Njezini radovi su generalno i ideje koje služe za unapređenje, poticanje i jačanje individualnosti ne samo Roma nego i ljudske zajednice u cjelini. Is there a picture that could represent all my problems, my happiness, sadness, unluckiness, my heritage, my people? These are the questions that a young author of this project is asking herself. For her, this project is liberating, he is a mirror of all mentioned. He is aimed directly to the audience. You know nothing about how I feel. You know nothing of who I am. You know nothing about my happiness and sadness. Selma Selman was born in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in She is a student at the Academy for arts in Banja Luka and is, as she claims herself, a member of the Rom nation, art and the class of the ladies. She is a member of the Roma nation, the arts and the Ladies class. Her works are generally also ideas that serve to improve, encourage and strengthen individuality not only Roma but also the human community as a whole. Sustav je postavljen vrlo jednostavno. Treba ga premjeriti, a onda: ubod po ubod. Stanka. Otkriće takvog stroja u velikoj je mjeri poboljšala efikasnost i produktivnost rada. Pri šivanju se konac pomoću igle provlači kroz materijal, a zatim vezuje s drugim koncem pri čemu dolazi do spajanja i ojačavanja. Još lakše se nit prekida u dijagonalno uspostavljenom obodu. Šavovi su postali plesna predstava proizašla iz kolektivnog rada koji se odvijao poduže vrijeme u različitim fazama s različitim horizontima i različitim akterima. U ovoj izvedbenoj prilici iz člankovitog ustroja sustava izdvajamo solo-nastup Jure Radnića koji iz sjećanja priziva i pokrete svojih plesnih suradnica u integralnoj verziji predstave. Movements and glances are directed towards the rest of the members of the system through the stitches. The system is set up very easily. You need to measure it, and then: stitch by stitch. Pause. Pitali smo se: Kako preuzimanjem jednostavnog mehaničkog principa sugerirati (melo)dramatski odnos na sceni? Dojam teatralnosti stvara se u oku gledatelja kao posljedica vrlo jednostavne akcije proizašle iz fizikalnosti tijela izvođača. Također, princip repeticije vrlo je prisutan u tehnici suvremenoga plesa te samim time određuje tijela plesača.na koji se način nosimo s tehnikom? Na koji način percipiramo značenja koja proizvodi loop? MALE FORME naziv je istraživačkog laboratorija Studija za suvremeni ples koji omogućuje plesačima iz ansambla stvaranje samostalnih autorskih predstava. Male forme djeluju od godine te je kroz ovaj segment Studija nastalo preko nekoliko zapaženih koreografskih minijatura od kojih su neke gostovale na etabliranim hrvatskim festivalima (ZadarSnova, Svetvinčenat). Uvidjevši koreografski potencijal plesača iz ansambla, Studio daje veću podršku mladim umjetnicima te kroz istraživački laboratorij nastaju i cjelovečernje predstave. Inspired by the opus of the experimental filmmaker Martin Arnold we appropriated the principle of looping the image, namely movement and translated it into the field of live performance. We asked ourselves: How to suggest a (melo)dramatic relationship on stage by acquiring a simple mechanical principle? The impression of theatricality is being formed in front of the audience as a result of very simple actions coming out of the physicality of the bodies of the performers. Additionally, the principle of repetition is vey present in the contemporary dance techniques and that in itself defines the bodies of the dancers. MALE FORME (Small Forms) is the title of the Studio - Contemporary Dance Company s laboratory which gives a chance to the dancers from the ensemble to create their choreographic works. The programme was started in 2004 and so far it has produced several outstanding choreographic miniatures, some of which were guests on Croatian renowned festivals (e.g. ZadarSnova, Svetvinčenat). Having noticed the choreographic potential of its dancers, the Studio started supporting the young artists even more by allowing them to create complete performances within its programme Male forme

Transformacija izvedbenog tijela je definirana odnosom tih dvaju elemenata u konstantnoj potrebi tijela da se opusti, ponovno aktivira, osvijesti i pronađe iznova njihovu međuovisnost. Disanje i tenzija su u logičnom organskom odnosu sve dok se ne potenciraju prema svojim ekstremima. Tijelo nekada radi za sebe, a nekada protiv sebe u različitim intezitetima svoje transformacije. Scenska prisutnost je povećana direktnim suočavanjem sa publikom. Izvođač nije tek izložen, već je zbog neizbježnog uzajamnog pogleda pojačano propitivanje odnosa sa publikom, što dodatno potencira aktivnost u izvedbenom tijelu. Ta vrsta suočavanja je ovdje iskorištena kao pokretač izvedbene prisutnosti te omogućava čitanje iz intimnih kuteva promatrača s obje strane. Suradnja s Anom Vnučec u zagrebačkoj izvedbi iz pozicije ženskog tijela i drugačijeg izvedbenog iskustva produbljuje korištenu metodu, naglašavaju se stereotipne predrasude te se pokazuje ono najbitnije, značenja koje razotkrivaju klišeje izvođačevog tijela i dopuštaju čitanja odnosa koje bilo koje tijelo može omogućiti. The developed physical mechanisms are based on the relationship between breathing and physical tension and ways in which that relationship permeates the body in each moment. Transformation of the performing body is defined by the relationship of these elements (breathing and tension) in constant need of the body to relax, re-activate, be aware and find again the bonds between these needs. This logical organic interconditioning starts intensifying towards their extremes and the body sometimes works for itself and sometimes against itself, depending on the intensity of its transformations. The performer is not merely exposed, but her unavoidable gaze towards the audience challenges the relationship with the audience, which additionally charges the activity within the performing body. Collaboration with Ana Vnučec in performance in Zagreb deepens the original methods as it takes into account the position of a female body and a different performing experience, at the same time playing with and emphasising other stereotypes and revealing to us the cliches of the female performer s body

10 RIJEKA RIJEKA NOĆ PERFORMANSA RIJEKA subota / Saturday, od 22 sati Filodrammatica, Korzo 28/I Noć performansa je site-specific događaj u okviru kojeg Perforacije pozivaju umjetnike da predstave instalacije, eksperimente sa svjetlom/zvukom/pokretom, različite prostorne intervencije, modele participacije s publikom, itd. Cilj je Noći performansa omogućiti nove izvedbe koje odražavaju specifičan pristup odabranih umjetnika, ali i ostvariti nove perspektive kroz istraživanje i refleksiju u odnosu na njihovu vlastitu praksu. Cijenimo inovaciju forme, ideja i estetike. Događaj je osmišljen u sklopu Festivala Perforacija i do sada je svoja izdanja doživio, uz Zagreb, Split i Beograd, i u Ljubljani, Skoplju, Brestu i Caenu (Francuska), Portlandu (SAD) i Ateni (Grčka). Ovogodišnje Perforacije donose čak 3 izdanja Noći performansa - u Splitu, u suradnji s IKS festivalom, u Rijeci u suradnji s Drugim morem i u Zagrebu u suradnji s Kulturom promjene Studentskog centra. The Night of Performances is a site specific performance-art event in which Perforacije Week of Live Art invites local relevant Balkan artists to do projects that reflect their specific artistic universe as well as body of work in innovative ways to them and/ or the arts. Beside Croatian versions, Night of Performances has already been to Belgrade (Serbia), Skopje (Macedonia), Brest and Caen (France), Bitola (Macedonia), Portland (USA) and Athens (Greece). This year in Croatia, the Night of performances is scheduled for three cities during the Peforations in Split, Rijeka and Zagreb. 18 Doppler efekt Jelena Tondini Kome je kultura dostupna? Whom is the culture available? Gotovo si onemogućivši ulaz u prostor izvedbe, no ipak ga pokušavajući doseći, autorica se u performansu bavi pitanjem kome sve kultura zapravo nije dostupna - od osoba s invaliditetom, osoba slabijeg imovinskog stanja, ili onih koji se suočavaju s preprekama pri pokušaju bavljenja kulturom. Jelena Tondini uosnivačica i dopredsjednica udruge Posve moguća družina Rijeka POMODORI iz Rijeke, objavila je zbirku poezije. Autorica je nekoliko predstava, a bavi se i neverbalnim kazalištem. 11 RIJEKA Luana Lojić Dopplerov efekt Doppler Effect Performans interakcije s frekvencijama referira se na Dopplerov efekt, odnosno, na fizičku činjenicu da percepcija vala ovisi o promatraču, o poziciji tijela spram vala, povezujući komunikaciju s nevidljivom materijom s drugim percepcijama. Luana Lojić zaprima pohvalu dekana a osvaja prvu nagradu na festivalu Vizura Aperta 2013., te joj je rad objavljen u kalendaru Istarske županije godine, u fundusu Muzeja suvremene umjetnosti Istre. The performance of the young awarded author Luana Lojić reffers to the Doppler effect, combining the communication with the unvisible matter with other ways of perception. Marija Štrajh Alien Autorica u performansu posvećenom podršci različitosti pripovjeda o svojem životu na Polluxu, obličju koje je tamo imala kao i putovanju na Zemlju gdje sad živi u ljudskom obliku. Marija Štrajh je autorica velikog broja performansa i predstava, između ostaloga ovogodišnje multimedijalne predstave s 20 umjetnika Metafizika Krvi ili art vizija DNK ključa i performansa New York raft on the road. Djeluje kao novinarka i urednica, te kao spisateljica. Maria Štrajh, active as journalist, editor and author of numerous performances, tells the audience about her life on Pollux in a tale about differences. Dragan Karlo Došen Movi se Linija broj 6 Move Line nr. 6 Film je snimljen u okviru humanitarno-umjetničkog projekta ČA- RI, Čandekovci Rijeka u suradnji s osobama koje žive i/ili stvaraju u ulici Franje Čandeka u Rijeci i koriste liniju broj 6. Dragan Karlo Došen članom HDLU Rijeka postao je godine. Samostalni je multimedijalni umjetnik i osnivač Galerije Nebeska u Rijeci. The Night of Performances is a site specific performance-art event in which Perforacije Week of Live Art invites local relevant Balkan artists to do projects that reflect their specific artistic universe as well as body of work in innovative ways to them and/ or the arts. Beside Croatian versions, Night of Performances has already been to Belgrade (Serbia), Skopje (Macedonia), Brest and Caen (France), Bitola (Macedonia), Portland (USA) and Athens (Greece). Performans ne kritizira, ne šalje jasnu poruku - taj dio prepušta publici. Ana Marija Ilić bavi se performansom godinu te je do sad izvodila uglavnom u masi ljudi, primjerice u trgovačkim centrima. Stvorila je svoju vrstu performansa koja se naziva performansom teatra, a koji se bavi socijalnom tematikom. Five related impressions show mental state and feelings of an individual who is in many ways different from the social mass. The performance does not criticize, does not send a clear message - that part is left to the audience. Frane Rogić Šamanski diskurs u slikarstvu Shamans Discours in Painting Posljednji performans u trilogiji koja se zbivala u crvenoj, bijeloj i u tamno sivoj boji. Sam naziv performansa referira se na radove drugih umjetnika. Performans koji stvara sama publika oslikavajući izvođačevo tijelo tamno sivom bojom, simbolizira svojevrsno stvaranje nove puti umjetnika. Frane Rogić rođen je u Karlovcu, a od je član HDLU-a. Do sad je imao mnogobrojne izložbe, bavi se performansom kao i fotografijom. Ovaj performans posljednji je u njegovoj karijeri. Umjetnički ansambl Porno Suicid kao predložak za svoj komad uzeo je refren stare pjesme grupe Riva Meni mama ne da, no stavlja ju u drugačiji kontekst. Zamjenom identiteta i spolnih uloga, pjesmu sada pjevaju muškarci o muškarcima. Izvedba je ogledalo današnjeg transrodnog i transkonceputalnog svijeta u kojemu pojedinci postaju fabricirani konzumenti bez identiteta. As a template for the piece, Art Ensemble Porn Suicide used a chorus of an old songs by band Riva, but puts it in a different context. Identity and gender roles are changed and the song is now sung by men about men. Performance is the mirror of today s transgender and transconceptual world in which individuals become prefabricated consumers without identity. Vilma Reljić upisala je likovnu akademiju u Splitu godine na kojemu smjer slikarstva završava u klasi profesora Deana Jokanovića Toumina. Licem prema nebu gledatelja nježno navodi njegov vlastiti vozač na sporom putovanju duž 100 metara tračnica. Sudioniku rad time posve zaokreće pristup okružju u kojem je instalacija postavljena, dok za gledatelja, prostor također doživljava transformaciju - tračnicama i kontinuiranim, hipnotičkim kretanjem sudionika i osoba koje ih guraju. Graeme Miller je kazališni i glazbeni umjetnik čiji rad uključuje širok raspon medija. For the participant, the work creates a total shift in relationship with whichever environment it is installed, while for the onlooker, that space is transformed by the tracks and the motion of the viewers and the people pushing them. Graeme Miller is an artist, theatre maker and composer, whose work embraces a wide range of media. With the idea of being a composer of many things that may include music, he has made theatre, dance, installations and interventions. Recent projects include Linked (2003-present) a semi-permanent radio work, Beheld (2006), an installation which maps places where stowaways have fallen from aircraft, and Moth Theatre (2010), an outdoor theatre for moths, by moths, which was the first winner of the Latitude Contemporary Art Award

No Luna Malekova je također lik. Možemo reći i alter ego, a sasvim sigurno, Luna Malekova sinonim je za drugi svijet, drugu dimenziju, svijet mašte i svijet snova. Putem estetike plesa koji ne polaže račune klasičnim okvirima kazališnog prikaza, manipluacijom tijela i izmicanjem jasne namjere ili jasno danog značenja, Martina Nevistić daje nam uvid u nadrealan, a istovremeno vrlo blizak i prisan svijet na granici osjetnog. Kroz ovaj plesno-multimedijalni projekt, u svom već prepoznatljivom stilu Martina Nevistić / O.N.E. još jednom propituje odnos izvođača i gledatelja, značenja upisanih u tijelo i njihove percepcije na višestrukim planovima. 16 Perforations cooking team Hrvatska Croatia Invazivna večera Invasive dinner petak / Friday, u 18:30 sati TBC Večera invazivnih vrsta događaj je koji promovira ukusni pristup pokušajima kontrole invazivnih vrsta te spaja u pozitivnom svjetlu naizgled nespojivo: gastronomiju i zaštitu prirode. Invazivne strane vrste su slučajnim ili namjernim aktivnostima čovjeka ili drugih životinja dospjele izvan područja svoje prirodne rasprostranjenosti, a u novom području uzrokuju ekološku i ekonomsku štetu. Pažljivo korištenje invazivnih vrsta u kulinarstvu doprinosi ublažavanju njihovog negativnog utjecaja te, uz dobru organizaciju, može također pripomoći boljem poznavanju rasprostranjenosti pojedinih vrsta i praćenju stanja u okolišu. Neke od invazivnih vrsta koje bi se mogle naći na jelovniku su čičoka, zlatnica, kanadska hudoljetnica, ali i bagrem i ambrozija. U suradnji s Udrugom Populus, udruga Domino organizira ukusnu i edukativnu večeru na kojoj će gosti imati priliku ne samo uživati u maštovitim jelima uz dodatak nekoliko invazivnih vrsta, već i naučiti ponešto o njima. A Dinner of Invasive Species is and event that promotes delicious access to an attempt to control invasive species, and that combines the seemingly incompatible: gastronomy and environmental conservation. Invasive alien species are those species that are accidentally or deliberately introduced, by humans or other animals, outside of their natural habitat; in their new habitat they can cause ecological and economic damage. The careful use of invasive species in cooking helps reduce their negative influence and, along with good organisation, can also lead to a better understanding of the distribution of individual species, and better environmental monitoring. Some of the invasive species that can be found on the menu are Jerusalem artichokes, goldenrod, Canadian horseweed, acacia, and ambrosia. In collaboration with Populus, Domino has organised this delicious and educational dinner at which guests will have the opportunity to not only enjoy the imaginative dishes prepared from healthy ingredients, with the addition of several invasive plants, but also to learn something about them

Klif Hrvatska, Japan Croatia, Japan To nismo mi, to je samo staklo It s not us, it s only glass petak / Friday, u 20 sati Polukružna dvorana &TD-a, Savska cesta 25 Opsežan dvogodišnji zajednički projekt sjajne japanske plesačice i koreografkinje Mikiko Kawamure i domaćih glazbenika Alena i Nenada Sinkauza dosegao je svoj vrhunac. Nakon još jednog rezidencijalnog programa održanog u Zagrebu, a svega tri mjeseca uoči svjetske premijere komada, izvest će svojevrsni rad u nastajanju predstave To nismo mi, to je samo staklo. Kao predložak za ovo dugoročno umjetničko istraživanje uzeli su istoimeni tekst autorice Ivane Sajko ( Das sind nicht wir, das ist nur Glas, Verlag der Authoren, Frankfurt, 2012.), a pridružio im se i vizualni umjetnik Ivan Marušić Klif. Ovaj osebujni ansambl već je ostvario zamijećen nastup na Yokohama Dance Collection Experimental, uglednom japanskom festivalu suvremenog plesa, a premijera se održava u sklopu poznatog Dance New Air festivala u Tokiju. A very extensive two-year project of cooperation between Croatian and Japanese artists is entering the final phase. Interdisciplinary project It s not us, it s only Glass includes a multiple award-winning Japanese dancer and choreographer Mikiko Kawamura and young Croatian musicians Nenad and Alen Sinkauz joined by a visual artist Ivan Marušić Klif. The collaboration began in February 2013, when the Sinkauz brothers stayed at an artistic research residency in Tokyo and had a great performance at the Yokohama Dance Collection Experimental. Njemačka umjetnica Verena Stenke i venecijanski umjetnik i autor Andrea Pagnes surađuju od godine. Jedini prisutni elementi su publika, fotograf, izvođač i blok gline težine jedne tone visinom i širinom odgovarajući dimenzijama ljudskog tijela. U mraku, Cassils koristi svoje boksačke i borilačke vještine dok doslovno napada glinu, te se udarcima stvara skulptura. Tijekom izvedbe, izvođač je slijep jednako kao i fotograf i publika. Becoming An Image is a body of work consisting of a live performance, photographs, a sculpture and an audio piece. Taking place in a blacked out room, the only elements in the space are the audience, a photographer, the performer and a block of clay weighing 1500 pounds. In the darkness, Cassils literally beats the material to form. For the duration of this performance he is blind, as is the audience, as is the photographer. The only light source emitted comes from the flash mounted on the photographer s camera. Heather Cassils uses the physical body as a sculptural mass to rupture societal norms. Bashing through binaries, Cassils performs transgendered not as something about crossing from one sex to another, but rather as a continual becoming, a process oriented way of being that works in a space of indeterminacy, spasm and slipperiness. Drawing on conceptualism, feminism, body art, gay male aesthetics, Cassils forges a series of powerfully trained bodies for different performantive purposes

The performance is based on the author s thesis that if people consumed plants that affect the heart, they would be less cruel to each other. Performans uprizoruje prirodu čovjeka da svojim razumom, duhom i odlukama mijenja svijet. Filip Borelli od djeluje kao glazbenik, performer, umjetnik instalacija te sudjeluje u produkciji spotova izvođača poput Skroz Over, Gorana Kosa i Diyale. Marija Barkiđija Valovi Waves Globalni tehnički potencijal energije vala procjenjuje se na oko 10 posto globalne energetske potrebe. Ovi obnovljivi izvori energije mogu zadovoljiti značajan dio svjetskih potreba za energijom u budućnosti. Gordan Kreković Mnemosyne Mnemosyne razmatra kako kratkoročno sjećanje utječe na glazbenu izražajnost, fokus i interpretaciju. Računalni algoritam gradi glazbene fraze dodavanjem ili brisanjem jednog po jednog tona prikazujući samo posljednji ton na zaslonu. Gordan Kreković, klavijaturist i skladatelj, Dobitnik je Rektorove i Dekanove nagrade, a na doktorskom studiju istražuje metode digitalne sinteze zvuka i umjetne inteligencije. Franjo Stojaković je stipendist francuske vlade za poslijediplomske studije na Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot i Conservatoire de la Vallee de la Chevreuse. The third part of documentaristic trilogy Every revolution is a throw of the dice by DB Indoš and Tanja Vrvilo appropriates the Jakob Schäffer case, his unsuccessful assassination of Ban Skerlecz that took place on the May 25, 1914 after the first act of opera Tosca in a hall and vestibule of Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, a month before the assassination in Sarajevo and beginning of the First World War. A theatre-music project with musicians as performers. At the beginning of the process, director has faced his collaborators with the following formula: the state is a music band, an inhabitant of the state is a musician, and migration from one state to another is like migration of a musician from one band to another. Through a process of improvisation and rehearsals, the creators have been examining the premise that the political, economic, emotional and other kinds of migrations could be talked about through the migration of musicians. Because of its musical essence and collage dramaturgy, the work could also be read quite differently. We could claim that the initial premise turned out to be only one of numerous possible explanations of the abstract whole. The project theatrises the musical material in order to dissect migration, the impossibility of migration, leaving and staying, reasons for persisting and departing. The selection of non-theatrical, musical performers enabled conditions for exceptional creative process and presented the director with a unique challenge of theatrising the de-theatricalised musical situation

KroaTisch- EU - Freundschaft (EUF) 2 ponedjeljak / Monday, u 21:30 sati MSU, Avenija Dubrovnik 17 + Utopljeni u Supernovu Drowned in Supernova ponedjeljak / Monday, u 21:30 sati plato ispred HNK, Trg maršala Tita 15 Intervencija se značenjima nastavlja na kontrolirani happening /audio-videojestivu instalaciju KroaTisch- EU Freundschaft kojeg je multimedijalni umjetnik Željko Zorica ( ) postavio na Trgu Francuske Republike 1. srpnja Ovaj je happening bio alternativno obilježavanje trenutka formalnog ulaska Republike Hrvatske u Europsku Uniju. Dio happeninga činilo je 140 bijelih križeva koji su umjesto pločice s imenom imali malo pravokutno ogledalo. U objašnjenju rada, Zorica kaže kako je birajući motive koristio empatiju te iskustvo paranoično-kritičke metode koju je uspostavio nadrealizam, te se oslanja na Salvadora Dalija, koji kaže kako takav umjetnički postupak otkriva nova, objektivna značenja iracionalnog, te tako pomiče svijet sumanutosti prema zbilji - i obrnuto, dodajemo mi. Istovremeno s plesno-zvučnom intervencijom na parkiralištu MSU-a, postavlja se videoinstalacija kao hommage radu i dijelu Željka Zorice, naslovljena Utopljeni u Supernovu na plato ispred HNK, kod Zdenca života. Artistic intervention leans on controlled happening / audiovideo-eatable installation KroaTisch-EU Freundschaft done by multimedia artist Željko Zorica ( ) in Zagreb on July 1st 2013 when Croatia formally became the member of the European Union, as an alternative celebration. 140 white crosses have been put on the meadow, and instead of the name plate, every cross has a small rectangle mirror. While explaining his work, Zorica says that he has been using empathy and experience of paranoid-critical method established by surrealism. He mentions Salvador Dali which says that every new artistic act reveals new, objective meaning of irrational, drawing the world of delusion towards reality - and vice versa, we add. At the same time as the dancesound intervention, a video installation is located in front of the Croatian National Theatre, as a homage to the work of the late Željko Zorica. 25 REZIDENCIJE Daria Faïn SAD USA Core Motion radionica od 9:30 do 12:30 sati Studio za suvremeni ples, Teslina REZIDENCIJA Daria Faïn profilirala se u jednu od najzanimljivijih plesnih pedagoginja u Americi. Osim bogate izvedbene i koreografske karijere, uvijek je energiju ulagala u razvoj vlastite pedagoške metode. Tijekom rezidencijalnog boravka u Zagrebu, u suradnji sa Studijom za suvremeni ples, ova čuvena njujorška koreografkinja održat će i plesni seminar naslova CORE MOTION. Radionica CORE MOTION temelji se na poimanju unutrašnje strukture tijela te kompleksne povezanosti svih sistema ljudskog organizma. Pristup učenja usredotočen je na način na koji pojedinac nastanjuje tijelo, a polaznici uče stvarati poveznicu sa suštinom tijela. Koreografija Darie Faïn povezuje njene europske korijene s azijskim filozofijama tijela te američkim plesnim školama. Stvorila je tako osebujan pristup pokretu i pedagogiji. Studirala je klasične indijske plesne forme te korelaciju plesa i arhitekture hramova. Brojna su ju istraživanja dovela do opsežnog rada s osobama s posebnim potrebama što Faïn daje posebni senzibilitet kao izvođaču, koreografu i pedagogu. Through the years, Daria Faïn profiled herself in one of the most interesting dance instructors in the US. Besides the rich career as a performer and a choreographer, she always invested energy in the development of a unique teaching method. During her residency in Zagreb, and in collaboration with the Studio for Contemporary Dance, she will be holding a seminar entitled CORE MOTION that is based on the understanding of the internal structure of the body and the complex interrelationships of all systems in the human body. Access to learning is focused on the way the individual inhabits the body, and participants learn how to create a link with the substance of the body. Choreography of Daria Faïn consists of her European roots connected with Asian philosophies of the body and American dance teachings. She studied classical Indian dance forms and the correlation of dance and architecture of temples. Research has led her to extensive work with people with mental illness, the developmentally disabled and blind-deaf individuals, leading to a complex understanding of the body as a endless resource of knowledge

26 REZIDENCIJE Tomoko Momiyama Japan Japan REZIDENCIJA Izvorno iz Japana, a trenutno sa sjedištem u Tokiju, Tomoko Momiyama diplomirala je na Sveučilištu Stanford glazbu i ljudsku biologiju. Međunarodno je aktivna kao skladateljica, dramaturginja i producentica multidisciplinarno umjetničkih događaja, instalacija i performansa. U Zagrebu će provoditi umjetničko istraživanje s naglaskom na specifične višeslojne pripovijesti na način da intervenira u odnose među ljudima, kulturama i sredinama. Da bi stvorila narodnu glazbu novih zajednica, razvila je jedinstvenu metodologiju za kolektivni sastav koji uključuje ljude iz različitih sredina. Njezini projekti pokrivaju širok raspon medija od koncerata uživo do radiofonijske glazbe, participativnih zvučnih instalacija i kazališnih komada na temu pitanja socijalnih manjina, kao i ritualnih predstava koje pozivaju publiku da komuniciraju s vjetrovima i vodi oko njih. Dijeleći trenutke paradigme kroz kreativne dijaloge i razmjene, Tomoko izaziva pretpostojeće društvene okvire i osobne granice, dok se približava pitanjima identiteta iz više perspektiva. Originally from Japan and currently based in Tokyo, Tomoko Momiyama graduated from Stanford University in Music and Human Biology. She has been internationally active as a composer, dramaturg, and producer of cross-disciplinary art events, installations, and performances. In Zagreb, she will do an artistic research of her specific multi-layered narratives by intervening in the relationships between people, cultures, and environments. In order to create folk music of new communities, she has developed a unique methodology for collective composition involving people from various backgrounds. Her projects cover a wide range of media and vary from live concerts to radiophonic music, audience participatory sound installations, and theater pieces on the issues of social minority, as well as ritual performances inviting the audience to communicate with the winds and the water around them. By sharing moments of paradigm shifts through creative dialogues and exchanges, Tomoko challenges pre-existing social frameworks and personal boundaries, while approaching the issues of identity from multiple perspectives

I to lik životinje čije je postojanje na ovoj planeti ugroženo. Origami, baš kao i priroda, u svakom svom koraku nastajanja nešto skriva, a nešto stvara. Nešto se preklapa, a nešto nestaje kao da nikada nije niti postojalo. Upravo poveznicu ove drevne vještine savijanja papira i ekologije proučila je gošća iz Japana Ayako Miyake, voditeljica radionice. Miyake je autorica brojnih uspješnih projekata koji promoviraju art aktivizam kao formu konceptualne umjetnosti. Koordinirajući proces učenja, osjećanja i poznavanja nepoznatog, ona režira trenutke zainteresiranosti. Origami predstavlja i budućnost koja se stvara pred našim očima. No, kakva je budućnost naše planete? Two-dimensional square pieces of paper are turned into three-dimensional shapes, shapes of animals whose existence on this planet is endangered. In every step, origami, the same as mother nature, hides something and creates something. Something gets folded and something disappears as if it never existed. The connection between this ancient art and ecology is studied closely by our guest from Japan Ayako Miyake. Miyake is the author of numerous successful projects and she promotes art activism as a form of conceptual art and a design of experience.
