6 The painter pays careful attention to the quality of scarves produced under France The scarves are hand stitched and manufactured along side such luxury silk designers as Feragamo, Cavalli, Bulgari and Chanel. This fact inspired Alexandra to create a painting which was taken as a base for the vibrant scarf's décor. Alexandra Otieva used a conceptual approach in the design of this scarf: its composition is centered around her painting Pomegranate, and the scarf's edge is decorated with a fantasy on pomegranites as precious stones from one of Alexandra's favourite jewelry houses Italian Bulgary. Multiple grains united into one whole symbolise the diversity of the universe. Rich red color is fluctuating with energy and passion. 18 «French Riviera» This scarf is insired by the Villa Museum Ephrussi de Rothschild and its unforgettable gardens, situated on the Cape Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferra. Baroness Beatrice Rothschild was building the villa of her dreams over the course of seven years, surrounding it with abundant gardens. The color palette of the scarf symbolises the shades of Cote d'azur, Mediterranean flora, orange trees and plants in blossom. The central garden rotunda depicts the Temple of Love. Being inside it, the baroness felt the illusion of travelling on board the ship. Dreams are coming true, as in Edith Piaf's song Life in Pink. In spite of the fact that the villa facades are painted in pale pink colors, the designer decided that the prevailing color palette of the scarf should be that of the magnificent and glorious gardens surrounding the villa. 22 «Travelling in Tuscany» (or Tuscany Journey ) Stylish scarf for women in search of a sophisticated and vibrant journey to Italy. It's the first scarf in the designer's cashmere line. While creating the scarf, Alexandra felt the urge to go further than usual and to draw upon her associations with the beautiful Tuscan region. The sun, the fields, characteristic trees and vintage vehicles Fiats and Vespa cycles of all colors. Her journey brought to mind Frederique Fellini's masterpieces. What do you associate Tuscany with? 36 Gift from Goddess Aphrodite New Fall/ Winter Collection «Sasha Otieva» premiering in New York City, September 2018 Sasha's inspiration came from Oysters which symbolize nature's raw and voluptuous beauty. According to ancient legend, Aphrodite the Goddess of Love, was born from sea foam and descended to shore in the form of a shell. It is also believed that she rewarded the oysters with the unique aphrodisiac properties and the possibility to give birth to pearls, which later made them the symbol of female sexuality and eroticism. The pearl inside an oyster symbolizes the female gift to fill others with energy and to bring their every wish to life.
