2 Bobux Xplorer New Winter 2018 Range Welcome to the new range of Bobux Xplorers Winter At Foot Forward Shoes we just love tting your child rst shoes. And we t hundreds of first shoes every year! This gives us a great insight on how toddlers react, crawl, pull themselves up on furniture and are happy get up and take steps. They need footwear that is super bendy, flexible, so that they move with the child s natural foot movement. Leather and natural uppers allow the feet the breathe and a waterproof sole will protect the feet from hot, cold, sharps, stones, concrete etc. This is why the Xplorer is our preferred first shoes for babies, crawlers and rst walkers, The shape (for a developing foot) and styling has been designed to allow movement, giving the toes room to move and spread to ground them when trying to walk. Of course babies don t need shoes. However, the Xplorer o ers protection from the elements and stops scu ng their little precious toes when outside. Also because of health and safety concerns, creches and day care centres may require shoes earlier than necessary. foot forward shoes - Kids Shoes NZ

3 Xplorers are suitable until your child grows out of the size range, however some parents want a more supportive stucture and a slightly harder sole when fully walking. This is the Step Up range, and comes in the same sizes as the Xplorers ( up to a 22euro). We suggest moving to this style once the child has been fully walking unaided for a few weeks and walks comfortably in the shoes across a room. The shoes open widely and have a velcro tab for fastening across the foot. When tting, make sure that the toes are uncurled. It s quite common for babies to curl their toes when they are not used to shoes, it is simply a matter of hooking a nger down the side of the shoes icking the toes to straighten. All Xplorers are unlined, except for the Arctic which has a merino wool lining, offering more snuggly warmth for your little ones feet. This years selection differs in some respects from previous years. Firstly, the Origin is back! This style with it's proven scu resistant toe, full leather upper and exible but waterproof sole will continue to be a favourite this season. And if you are worried about getting outside in the winter weather, it o ers the most water resistance over the new styles and can be wiped clean. foot forward shoes - Kids Shoes NZ

4 The new Abstract, Paint, Spekkel and Habitat designs feature a di erent type of toe protection. It appears as a slightly shiny lm over the toe of the shoes, which can be seen in some pictures. The Lo Dimension has quite a new look. It s a twinface fabric and pulls on with no additional fastening. The toe protection as also quite di erent than the Origin, it s more of a fabric. This may not be as scu resistant but given Bobux s commitment to R & D you know they would be stress tested. So great for your child's growing feet. These are also a great crossseasonal shoe if you are not worried about water resistance.
