I always cook for enough to feed the whole street (well that s what people tell me if you know me). I d rather have too much than to little, that s my life motto! Cooking is my passion and I love making people happy with my dishes. You wouldn t guess but the kitchen is my most favorite place at home, our kitchen has an open layout and I m able to chat up with the guest in the dining room. With our 3 meter long dinner table there is enough room for friends and family to joi for a great meal. / WHAT DO YOU NEED: 1 avocado 1 mozzarella 2 twigs of fresh basil 1 tomato 1 pinch of salt 1 pinch of pepper 1 tablespoon olive oil / WHAT TO DO: / VEGA CAPRESE BURGER This month I have a vegetarian burger recipe for you. It s a twist on the caprese salade you probably know how to make. This burger is easy to make and you won t even have much dish washing after it. / FOOD TIP You can always add a (chicken)burger if you don t want to eat it all vegetarian style. Cut the avocado in the length and remove the pit, then peel off the skin of both pieces. Make one piece the bottom by cutting off the curve and making it flat. This will keep your burger from tipping over. Cut the mozzarella into thick slices, then also do the same with the tomato. Now you can start building you burger, start with the bottom avocado and then add layers of mozzarella and tomato. Don t forget to put your basil leaves between the layers and sprinkle some salt and pepper. Then finish it off with the top and enjoy your healthy vegetarian burger.
