Also see Cottle (Simon) The Other Beilbys, Apollo 1986 where it is suggested that the decoration was done by Antony Taylor, a Scottish enameller previously of Newcastle-upon-Tyne It has also been suggested that the portrait medallions may represent Cardinal Henry Benedict Stuart, the younger brother of Bonny Prince Charlie who succeeded to the Stuart claim to the English throne as King Henry IX and was known as the Cardinal of York Three Waldglas Roemers, probably German, 17 th century, the ovoid bowls on cylindrical stems with strawberry prunts and spun bases, 14cm, 13.5cm and 13cm high Requests for telephone bidding must be registered one hour prior to the close of the view day.
