We will once again be sharing the road with those who feel a chat on their phone or a quick glance at a text is more important than the safety of others. These are just a few tips to help keep you safe on your journey!!! Leather helps protects the skin - armor helps protects the joints *TO BE SEEN - Hi-Vis Reflective clothing - if you are not wanting to buy the whole jacket, why not try a Hi-Vis Vest. When buying raingear - remember it is usually dark and gloomy when it rains and visibility is not always the best - opt for hi-vis raingear. *FOR THE SKID -Jeans or Leggings made from fabrics such as: Aramid - high strength, heat & cut resistant Kevlar - lightweight, durable, strong Cordura - enhanced tear & abrasion resistant Riding jeans differ from standard jeans not only in material but also in strength of stitching. Fashion jean stitching in seams will blow apart exposing your skin. Riding jeans are made with a stronger - reinforced stitch. *FOR THE IMPACT - Armor Clothing -Jackets & Pants come with armor where you need it. Elbow, Shoulder, Spine, Knees, Hips - the joints you want to protect. Or try an elbow or knee guard that slips on under any clothing - makes even a t-shirt safer. Under shorts are also available with armor at the sides protecting your hip joints. *MOTORCYCLE BOOTS - Look for a good tread on your boot & one that covers your ankle. When you put your foot down to stop - you want a firm stop with no slipping and in a spill, you want as much rigidity as possible for your ankle. *HELMETS - People tend to look for the smallest helmet in hot weather for in town riding - and a full face or modular for highway. Often times riding in town is more dangerous than highway - more people - more distractions. So we here at wish you a safe riding season. HAPPY RIDING
