1 Volume 3, Issue 6 Monthly Newsletter Editor Sharon Therrian SGTherrian@ToteBagsofLove.org June Production Events A 501(c)3 Nonprofit Charitable Organization Come out and be a part of something special. We need your help cutting, matching, sewing and more. If you can spare an hour or 2, we would love to have your support. Tote Bags of Love makes several types of Tote/Duffel Bags. There is the Weather-Proof Tote Bag, the Multi-Use Tote Bag, the Mini Duffel Bag, Waist Tote Bag, and the Eyeglass/Cellphone Bag. The need of the individuals that we help determine which of the Bags we will be working. Generally, we will work concurrently on several bags at the same. We may sew a certain bag at one or two locations and at another location work on a different bag. For those that do not sew there is always something they can do at each of the locations. There is the preparing, sorting, matching, cutting, and more steps that need to be done to the various materials prior to actually sewing one of the Bags. During the sewing process there are also steps that individuals can do that does not involve knowing how to sew. These individuals can write an inspirational message in our Weather-Proof Tote Bag and/or match various straps to make handles for the bags that will be sewn. All of the bags need to be turned to the right-side. Then there are the bags that need to have roping put in the top of the bag so the bag will be able to be used. An example of this is the Multi-Use Tote Bag. Due to the roping this bag is able to be used on a wheelchair, walker, medical bed or a baby stroller. It can also be used as a cinch bag or a back pack. It does not matter if you know how to sew or not. Your help is always welcome and appreciated. Tote Bags of Love always supplies everything that is needed to accomplish the above. The Locations and Dates of the June Production Events can be found on page 2 and on Tote Bags of Love s website, under events.
