I am still in Montana and will return to Vegas on Aug. 30th. We have had some warm weather here this week. I think it is getting me ready for our return to Vegas. I am looking forward to seeing everyone in Sept. Fortunately because of technology, I have been able to be at the board meetings this summer, thanks to Ernesto. In October It will be 5 years that I have been a member of CCAG. I have seen the Guild grow and I am happy to be a part of it. As of this month we have over 80 members. On October 23rd the Guild will participate in the Charleston Library Show. Myrna Chavez will explain the details of the show at the August meeting. I encourage everyone to enter the show. On November 9 & 10th is the Sun City Aliante Art show. The sign-up for this show is Aug.18 at 9:00am at the community center. On October 20th is the Sun City Anthem Art Show. Sign up is August 20th at 8:30 am. Ernesto Chavez will be presenting a sample of the CCAG Art Book. The book is now available to purchase. It is a beautiful representation of our members' artwork. The speaker for the August meeting will be Paula Darnell. She will present some ways to market your artwork online. This will be beneficial to everyone so you don t want to miss it. The theme for the August meeting is open to all artwork. Good luck. For those members who have not paid their dues, please do so. Thank you for letting me serve as your President.
