BRONOCIDE TM RANGE - TECHNICAL INFORMATION ACTIVITY Full spectrum. Bactericidal / Fungicidal / Virucidal / Sporicidal. RESISTANCE 20 years of testing has failed to produce any resistant organisms. COMPOSITION A synergistic blend of halogenated alcohols and surfactants. MODE OF Electron microscopy shows a breakdown of the cell membrane with subsequent leakage and denaturing of the cell contents by oxidation of thiols such as glutathione and cysteine. The MIC (Minimal Inhibitory Concentration) is generally around 8ppm for gram negative and gram positive organisms. The ability of Bronocide to cleave disulphide bonds, amongst other effects explains its ability to easily neutralise micro organisms.
