WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE A COMPLETE EXTRACT Rodacea is a complete extract of microalgae Rhodella violacea. CODIF grows the algae in a photo-bioreactor with nutrient enriched seawater. The entire culture is then hydrolysed to obtain Rodacea: seawater plus polysaccharides, phospholipids and glycoglycerolipids from microalgae. A MICROALGA FROM SYLT Rhodella violacea was isolated in 1951 in Germany on the Island of Sylt. The island in the shape of an anchor is also called The Queen of the North Sea. The island landscape has been preserved with verdant pastureland, cliffs, beaches of white sand and magnificent dunes. CLAIMS REGENERATING Rodacea protects the skin from external influences by strengthening its physical, anti-microbial and anti-oxidant defences. This active ingredient also improves oxygenation of the skin by increasing the expression of proteins involved in mitochondrial activity. In addition, Rodacea stimulates the factors involved in skin repair. By protecting, repairing and oxygenating, Rodacea is an active ingredient which can really regenerate the skin. HYDRATING Rodacea possesses remarkable immediate and long term cutaneous hydration properties. The density of hydrated cells increases significantly from the first application. The skin is significantly and visibly filled with water. It becomes plumper and smoother.
