The Theory # series of art projects are commi ed to the representa on of complex crea ve processes in specific coordinates of me and space through video, photography, pain ng, drawing, installa on, text, sound and sculpture. The applied methods include portraiture prac ces, historical research, conversa on, walking and progressive occupa on of an exhibi on space as a metaphor of the whole process and its acquired or sensed meanings. Images, themes and ques ons arisen from these research strategies are analysed, re-elaborated and combined in order to produce a narra ve which deals with the tradi ons of history pain ng, anarchitecture, realism and allegory. Theory #Velenje was produced in between 12th and 25th August, 2016 for Kunigunda Fes val of Youth Culture in Velenje, Slovenia. The exhibi on includes a large site-specific installa on and a group of works made in Velenje during that period, as well as a series of pain ngs produced in Ljubljana in 2015-2016 displayed here for the first me in the framework of the Ins tute of Consensual Art. 3

[A] MELUSINE'S WORKS #VELENJE Melusine s works is a series of interven ons and installa ons ini ated in 2010 in Montevideo, Uruguay. It combines an anarchitectural approach to public space with a small repertory of materials (cardboard, nails, wire, staples) in order to produce pictorial devices. The Velenje edi on of Melusine's works is a large site-specific installa on. It has the form of a tunnel made of cardboard, adorned with pain ngs, objects and photographies. It starts at the entrance of Pekarna and goes up throughout the stairs to the main exhibi on space. The majority of the pain ngs hanging from the walls are "archaeologies" of Melusine s works #Lendava, produced in that Slovenian city in October, 2014. The photos are raw material for composi ons, and include images from art history sources and press photography, as well as video frames from private and family footage. The displayed objects and sculptures were produced in Pekarna during the making process of Theory #Velenje. All drawings on the tunnel were made using coal from different places (Schwarzwald, Rog, Ilirska pri Sotli) where fires with friends were made. Some of the main sta ons are: 1 There s no place to go Re-make of an interven on on the public space produced in Ljubljana on 1st January, 2016, in the framework of the collec ve project Meta City Symptoms / Materialni Pogoji Produkcije.
