JOSH PEDERSEN Design is the very heart of how we communicate. Well crafted design is the eye candy we seek. Once discovered it becomes an addiction; powerfully igniting not only the creator but the consumer. My name is Josh Pedersen. I am a culture vulture. A design junkie. Creating an event that is well designed is a rush. An event that seamlessly lets its guests enjoy themselves so effortlessly they are never inconvenienced or confused. Over the past nine years I have been breathing design. Employed by multiple industries within the design realm I have been able to design in many different mediums. While working for Restoration Hardware I designed numerous residential and commercial spaces using perfect symmetry. I have also worked in the fashion industry and curated looks that have been published by brands like Neiman Marcus, Chanel, Ritz-Carlton, Brooks Brothers, and Topman. I have had the honor of designing book covers and being able to create branding guides for new tech-startups. I have worked on many special events that have been published in magazines and multiple online audiences. I have been unhinged in my design freedoms and liberties; and for that I wake up full of gratitude everyday. Design is the language of vision. With context a design can be understood by billions. It is a territory that is always new. It requires exploration daily as our world technologically advances itself. It is a subject that takes imaginations to new levels.
