At Henshaws Arts & Crafts we make more than art. We bring people together in an atmosphere that never fails to inspire. Set in beautiful surroundings at the heart of Knaresborough, we are a community hub where creativity, friendships and opportunities come to life. about our events Children s events We run weekly storytime and paint sessions, a monthly family play café and recycled craft workshops. Craft fairs A range of stalls from local crafters plus children s activities. Contact Henshaws Craft Fairs on Facebook for more details. Entry is free, with a small charge for some activities. Creative workshops Our new programme of arts and crafts workshops includes sketching, face painting and beauty sessions. Music events Free live music events include the monthly Friday Night Mix and Bed Fest music festival in June. Disco Fever is our monthly disco night, open to anyone aged 18+ with a learning disability. Tickets 5 including dinner from 4pm or 2.50 disco only from 7pm. Art Maker showcases Entry to all our window displays is free throughout the week during our normal opening hours. Get creative and choose from our range of ceramics which start at just 5 and include plates, tiles, animals and more. Settle into our cosy beanbags for a story followed by juice and a biscuit, then paint a ceramic related to the book. Perfect for pre-schoolers. 8 places available booking essential. 7.50 per child. april 3rd April - 10th June Sport showcase Explore our workshop windows featuring unique pieces made by our Art Makers on a sporting theme.
