The versatile SchwarzwaldCard The SchwarzwaldCard is your personal key to discovering the entire array of adventure in the Black Forest at a very affordable price. This chip card provides you with free entry to over 135 of the most exciting attractions. Take advantage of these benefits and enjoy the experience of a lifetime in the Black Forest. When is the card valid? The card is valid on three freely selectable days within the season from 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016. Furthermore, there is a large number of select attractions you can visit once outside of those three validity days as well. These attractions can be visited one time on days other than the three days of validity within the season. Please note the following information regarding the services for the attractions: SchwarzwaldCard Europa-Park provides one free admission within the three selected days to Germany s largest recreational park. That means this card also has three days of validity. Winter sports enthusiasts can use the SchwarzwaldCard for a oneday lift pass for Feldberg (no. 131) and Belchen-Bahn (no. 129). The card can be used for one visit to canoe tour (no. 78), the Möslepark forest spa (no. 109), ), the Upper Black Forest Fun Park (no. 87), Adrenaline Becker (no. 67), Segway Tour (no. 12 ) and the culinary specials (no. 137-142 ). Vita Classica Thermal Bath (no. 99) offers two one-day passes to the thermal bath and sauna paradise for max. 3 children (0-15 years) with the SchwarzwaldCard for families. Each additional child (0 to 15 years, without SchwarzwaldCard) costs 11.30 / 17.40 If Max can t go, then Moritz will! The SchwarzwaldCard can be utilized by different holders on different days. Issuance and use of the SchwarzwaldCard, hereinafter termed SWC, are subject to the following terms and conditions: General Terms and Conditions 1. Service Foundation: Purchase of a SchwarzwaldCard (SWC) does not per se represent a contractual relationship with one of the service partners presented in the folding map / travel guide. Service partners are the companies offering their services presented in the folding map / travel guide. Cardholders themselves conclude the respective contract with the service partner directly prior to or by using the service presented. Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH is not a travel organizer and does not provide any services. It merely facilitates use of the services that can be used with the SWC. Service partners offer cardholders use of the services indicated in the current version of the folding map / travel guide in exchange for a one-time fee. 2. Scope of service: All service partners have assumed an obligation to make their services indicated as SWC services available to SWC holders without restriction and in their full extent throughout the season during standard business hours and in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Use. However, the business hours of some service partners do not coincide with the entire validity period of the SWC, particularly due to and seasonal circumstances. Restrictions may also result from individual retention periods. Current updates and cancellations in the scope of service (to the extent known) will be published on the Internet. SWC holders are obligated to inform themselves about interruptions on the Internet. No claims may be made against STG due to service cancellations or their resulting damages (travel time, loss of vacation enjoyment, etc.). Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH assumes no liability for the services of service partners. The SWC provides multiple free admission to the attractions and facilities indicated in the folding map / travel guide during its validity period. The services of some service partners can only be used once or twice with one SWC. These services are marked accordingly in the folding map / travel guide. 3. Transferability: The SWC is fully transferable from one user to another from one usage day to the next. The card is not transferable within one usage day and is only valid in connection with a valid photo ID. 4. Validity: The SWC is valid within one season limited to 12 months (1 April to 31 March of the following year). The season during which the service partners services can be used is named in the folding map / travel guide. The Schwarzwald- Card expires once the season ends. The SWC is valid on 3 days that can be chosen freely within that season. Regardless of the time of day, a usage day begins at the point in time of entry into the first partner attraction and ends on the final usage day at midnight. There is no right to reimbursement or compensation for unused days. Unused cards cannot be transferred to the following season. Moreover, numerous select attractions marked as bonus partners in the folding map / travel guide can each be visited one time outside of these three validity days as well. Each SWC use triggers a temporary block such that a released service may indeed be used multiple times, although not until a period of 8 hours has passed. The SWC incl. Europa Park provides one-time free admission to Europa Park within one of the three validity days. That means Europa Park cannot be visited on multiple days, nor twice on one day. 5. Prices: The SWC is subject to the prices named in the folding map / travel guide and on the Internet (schwarzwaldcard.info). The card will remain STG s property until final payment. 6. Family cards (SchwarzwaldCard Familie): The family card is valid for 2 adults and 3 children. Persons are considered children under the SchwarzwaldCard Familie up to and including one day before their 18th birthday. The reference point will be the date of purchase. Only one card will be issued, which can be used by one family group as a unit (group members do not receive individual cards). 7. Children s cards: Small children under the age of 4 do not receive their own SchwarzwaldCard. However, adults in possession of a SchwarzwaldCard can bring their small children along to an attraction free of charge. An exception here is Vita Classica Thermal Bath (no. 99), which offers two one-day passes to the thermal bath and sauna paradise for max. 3 children (0-15 years) with SchwarzwaldCard Familie. Each additional child (0 to 15 years, without SchwarzwaldCard) costs 11.30 / 17.40. 8. Use: To obtain the card s benefits, cardholders present their SWC, with service partners checking validity and identity prior to the respective contract conclusion either using a terminal or simply via visual check. Cardholders must present a photo ID upon request. Service partners may deny use of the SWC to cardholders who are unable to present a photo ID 9. Misuse: In the event of abusive use or suspicion of abusive use, service partners have the right / obligation to retain the SWC without substitution. Cardholders are liable for abusive use of the SWC by a third party. 10. Theft / loss: In the event of theft or loss, cardholders shall report the incident under number + 49 (0) 761 / 89 646 75 so that the lost card can be blocked via the card number. Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH disclaims all liability. There is no right to a replacement card, further use of services, nor purchase price reimbursement. 11. Exchange: The SWC cannot be exchanged.
