*Diploma *Penelope s Sphere 1 *John Galliano *Varied Projects *Sketches + Work in Process *Penelope s Sphere 2 In February 2006, i completed my degree as a Dipl. Fashion Designer at the University of the Arts in Bremen. In Pippi s Sisters i was inspired by a certain type of women who stongly remind me of A. Lindgren s Pippi Longstocking. Not in their looks but in their self-determined ways, in their peculiar habits, their self-mockery attitude and in the freedom in which they live that out. I invented for my figures practical clothes in a Pippi Longstocking sense: An underskirt with a print based on a choreographic navigation for tango. Or long knitted gloves which can easily be turned into stockings. Jacket sleeves with more free space in the shoulders, for active women sometimes in need of climbing trees. 1 2 3 4 5

From the theme research untill the production, i was working very close and in a constant dialogue with Tamari Nikoleishvili who runs the label. My focus was on designing and pattern making, but i was also very involved in fabric- and material research and -ordering. I promoted the label in Berlin and Paris. For the summer 07 i developed swimwear, shirts, trousers, shorts, dresses and jackets.
