Millicent Dow, Feminist Group representative from Wellington East Girls' College campus gave a speech of their activities to the meeting. Panel presentation: Achieving Gender Equality: Why SDG5 matters. - Josie Pagani (Council for International Development, Director) - Rae Duff (, President) - Suzanne Snively (Transparency International New Zealand, Executive Chair) Page 3 of 6

The panel took questions from the meeting. The meeting broke for morning tea at 11:30am The meeting resumed at 11:45am 2 Minutes of the 2015 Annual General Meeting The minutes of the 2015 UN Women National Committee Aotearoa New Zealand Annual General Meeting were discussed and accepted with minor corrections to names of attendees. 2.1 Resolution: Accept the UN Women National Committee Aotearoa New Zealand Annual General Meeting Minutes of 12 September 2015 Seconded by: Angela McLeod 3 President s Report Barbara Williams delivered the UN Women National Committee Aotearoa New Zealand President s 2016 Report. 3.1 Resolution: Accept the UN Women National Committee Aotearoa New Zealand President s 2016 Report Seconded by: Maryan Street 4 Treasurer s Report Barbara Williams presented the UN Women National Committee Aotearoa New Zealand Treasurer s 2016 Report. The meeting briefly discussed the operations and finances of UN Women National Committee Aotearoa New Zealand. The audited annual financial statements were tabled at the meeting in paper and electronic format. 4.1 Resolution: Accept the UN Women National Committee Aotearoa New Zealand 2016 Audited Accounts Seconded by: Maryan Street 4.2 Resolution: Appoint David Knightley Accounting Ltd as the 2017 UN Women National Committee Aotearoa New Zealand Auditor Page 4 of 6
