1 THE COTTON SCHOOL Announces 2011 Seminar Dates After years of providing one-on-one or small group cotton market and risk management seminars for companies, Paul A. Ruh, President and CEO of The Cotton School in Dallas, Texas offered his first 4-day public Cotton Market Seminars, one in English, one in Spanish, during May of 2010 (see pictures included). Mr. Ruh is well-known and respected for his in-depth knowledge of the cotton market. As a seasoned, successful executive and former leader of large, worldwide cotton firms during his career, he has developed his expertise in the cotton market first-hand, with risk management, futures and options trading acumen. The Seminars will be held shortly after the annual meeting of the National Cotton Council of America at which their economic staff presents the 1st projections for the 2011/12 season U.S. and World cotton supply/demand picture. Seminar participants will get a very early idea of cotton prices for the new season. By limiting each seminar to 15 participants, the combination of mill executives, cotton growers, ginners, merchants, warehousemen, consultants and buying/selling agents will allow for a lively and interesting mix of discussion and questions. Attendees will learn more in 4 days than in any other seminar and appreciate the variety of subjects they can apply to their own business.
