Picked at the start of spring, it exudes a unique and enchanting, sunny sillage. Its citric freshness echoes the radiance of the Mediterranean, a true ode to brightness and lightness. 7 12 Precious Jasmine PRECIOUS JASMINE ABSOLUTE 13 The small delicate blossoms of Jasmin Grandiflorum were already used in the 16th century by the first masters of glove-makers perfumers from Grasse. Soon this precious plant became an essential element in perfumer's palette and found itself at the heart of Grasse horticulture. Picked at dawn in August, its pristine flowers deliver a captivating powdery and slightly fruity fragrance. 8 14 Rose Geranium ROSE GERANIUM ABSOLUTE 15 Introduced in Europe during the 17th century, geraniums were initially used for medicinal purposes. They were soon used in perfumery as well, for the aromatic properties of their leaves and stems. Rose Geranium is particularly delicate, both sweet and strong. Very similar to the smell of Rose, Geranium distinguishes itself by its light green plant and citrus notes which makes it attractive and unique. We unfortunately cannot display a certification/ label on our products, as we are present on the Chinese market, which allows this type of testing. The difference between the perfume Absolute and essential oils mainly lies in the way the main active ingredients are extracted from the plant. The Absolute is obtained by cold extraction; whereas the essential oils are obtained by distilling the raw materials. are more commonly used in cosmetics for their high perfume concentration whereas the essential oils are used for their various properties. Why is the Absolute range more expensive than the other ranges? The perfume Absolute is a very costly raw material, mainly reserved for Fine Perfumery as it has an ultra-high concentration of active plant ingredients. The Eaux de toilette and Absolute candles are more expensive than the Essentials, as the percentage of perfume in these products is higher, which therefore increases the amount of Absolute. The Absolute produces a true elixir, rarely found in cosmetic treatment products. Do the Absolutes all have the same percentage of ingredients of natural origin? The formulas of our Absolute products are identical, only the perfume and its Absolute changes. Overall, the percentage of ingredients of natural origin is the same. There may be a slight variation of +/- 1% depending on the product due to the perfume concentration. What is not natural in your products? At Panier des Sens, we strive to develop products as natural as possible. Despite particularly demanding specifications, two ingredients are exceptions: preservatives and perfume. While our priority is to guarantee quality products with optimal preservation over time, no natural preservative has yet proven itself in the long term. Beyond the naturalness of our formulas, perfume remains Panier des Sens trademark. That is the reason why, we are unleashing our master perfumers to create delicate and durable fragrances. Unfortunately, there are still few perfumes 100% natural meeting this requirement. Moreover, recognized as artists, perfumers have the privilege of keeping their creation secret.
