15 SPA ETIQUETTE WHAT DO I WEAR WHEN I COME TO THE SPA? When you check into The Spa we provide you with a locker, robe and slippers. Most treatments are enjoyed without clothing, however, please wear whatever makes you comfortable. The therapist will leave the room while you disrobe and you will be fully draped during all the treatments. If you wish to use the steam, whirlpool or sauna and you feel more comfortable in a swimsuit you kindly bring one with you. HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY APPOINTMENT? We ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. This will allow you sufficient time to change and relax before your treatment. The use of the whirlpool, steam or sauna is a recommended prelude for any treatment. We have fresh herbal teas, citrus infused water and fruit available in our relaxation lounges. WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY? As a courtesy to other guests and to our therapists, we strictly adhere to the spa cancellation policy: If you must reschedule or cancel an appointment, please advise us four (4) hours in advance to avoid being charged 100% of the scheduled service, workout or activity. For cancellation of a package, 24-hour notice is required to avoid being charged 100% of the cost of the package. WHAT IS THE AGE POLICY? Children ages are welcome to enjoy massages, facials and body treatments, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Gender of therapist may be chosen based on preference of accompanying adult. Children ages are welcome to enjoy treatments in the Nail Spa & Hair Salon unaccompanied. To protect the tranquil nature of the spa and its environment, children under 12 are not permitted to use the spa facility. This includes the Nail Spa & Hair Salon, spa pools, whirlpool bath and fitness center. WHAT ABOUT GRATUITIES? For your convenience a 22 percent service charge will be added to each spa treatment you receive. Additional gratuities are at your discretion and may be added. SHOULD I AVOID THE SPA IF I AM PREGNANT? While there are a few treatments that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our spa receptionist of your pregnancy when scheduling your treatment so they may offer guidance.
