2 HISTORY Chase Products Company Putting the best at your fingertips Chase Products Co., established in 1927 by Carl W. Svendsen, has long been a major manufacturer and a leader in the aerosol industry. In 1949, R.W. Svendsen, Carl's son, joined the business, to be followed 24 years later by Robb Svendsen, R.W.'s son. Currently, Judith A. Albazi is president and CEO of the company, and Ernesto "Ting" Hidalgo is executive vice president and COO. Both are veteran Chase employees. Founded as an exterminating company, Chase manufactured and sold Chase Ant Killer, Rat Killer, and other products. In April of 1948, we became one of three companies granted a license by the United States Department of Agriculture to provide mosquito abatement solution in pressurized containers. The USDA license was the result of Chase's early entry into aerosol packaging. The company already had become the first to manufacture spray paint. It went on to become the first to develop hair spray, and the second company to formulate and package spray snow. We were the first company to package natural sizing (spray starch) in an aerosol can, and to formulate and manufacture and antiperspirant deodorant in an aerosol can. Chase introduced the first sunless tanning product line in aerosol dispensers. We added the first propellant-free aerosol packaging to our offerings with the introduction of our Green World products. In 1980, Chase began to integrate the Quality Improvement Process from Philip Crosby Associates into our activities. Since 1986, the Quality Improvement Team has provided Quality Education for all of our employees. Today Chase, following our tradition of ongoing improvement, continues to offer the products and services that have satisfied customers for over eight decades. 2 Chase Products Company

3 CHASE BRANDS The Champion-Sprayon brand was acquired in 1974, when Chase purchased the Champion Bronze Powder Company. In 1982, it was reintroduced to the market as Chase's flagship industrial and institutional brand. The first five Champion Sprayon products introduced were our Spray Disinfectant, Foaming Disinfectant Cleaner, Glass Cleaner, Stainless Steel Cleaner and Oven Cleaner. Since 1982, the Champion Sprayon brand has been expanded to include over 100 industrial and institutional products. The Champion's Choice brand was created in the 1990s as an industrial-mro extension of the Champion Sprayon product line. It made its public debut in 2005 with 13 industrial-mro products, with new products being added every year. The SprayPAK brand was first used on "insect bombs," and is Chase's original brand, established in the 1940s. Because of its rich history, Chase reintroduced the SprayPAK brand in the 1990s as our bid-line brand. Chase introduced the ProsALL program in The program gives select distributors geographic exclusivity to the brand, offering a private-label program without per-item ordering minimums. Distributors who carry the ProsALL brand must meet certain requirements. In the 1970s, after manufacturing national-brand rust-preventative paints for over a decade, Chase launched its Rust Curb brand. We continued to manufacture a broad line of paints and specialty coatings, the newest of which is ColorSpray Ultimate Decorating Enamel. Building on the respected Champion name, Champion Wipe On brand was added in 2007 with premoistened towels in plastic dispensers, nonaerosol alternatives that are as affordable and dependable as our aerosol products. In this case, we manufacture a minimum number of cases per product, and ship it to your warehouse. (2) Floor-stock program. This program is offered to those who would like to private-brand more than three products. In this case we manufacture and stock the product for you, allowing you to pull from the inventory at low mixed minimums.
