1 SSB INTERVIEWS SSCW(NT)-20 : OCT 2017 COURSE IN THE ARMY SELECTION CENTRE CENTRAL, BHOPAL (UPDATED AS ON 11 APR 2017) 1. Candidates are required to report at Parking Zone outside platform No 6, BHOPAL RAILWAY JUNCTION on the date and time as given below. Our representative in Army uniform wearing will receive you and arrange your conveyance to the Selection Centre 2. Documents. Please bring the following documents in ORIGINAL at the time of reporting at this centre along with two photocopies each duly self attested: (a) Matriculation/Higher Secondary or equivalent pass certificate for verification of your date of birth. (b) Intermediate/10+2 pass certificate. (c) Marks Sheet of Matriculation / Higher Secondary or equivalent. (d) Marks Sheet of Intermediate/10+2 examinations. (e) Semester/Year wise independent marks sheets of Graduation/Post Graduation. (For Graduation/Post Graduation entries.) (f) Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate. (For Graduation/Post Graduation entries.) (g) NCC C Certificate. (For NCC/NCCW entries.) (h) Copy of Registration with the Bar Council of India/State/Certificate from College/University that the LLB course in the said institution is recognized by Bar Council of India. (For JAG Entry). (j) UPSC admit card. (For UPSC entries.) (k) Identity Proof with photograph (any one of School/College ID Card),Adhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving Licence etc. (In case of candidates of NDA/10+2 (TES) entries, a certificate with photograph issued by Principal as proof of identity.) (l) Risk Certificate duly signed by parent/guardian. (For NDA and 10+2 TES entries) Attention:- In case, you fail to produce any requisite document in ORIGINAL or the Bonafied cum Custodian Certificate as explained in Call Up letter, at the time of Reporting, you are liable to be returned without being interviewed and NO reimbursement of TA will be made. 3. You are also required to ensure the following:- (a) Common Call Up instructions for SSB interviews are available on the above mentioned website. However, a copy of the same is enclosed herewith for your information and compliance. Candidates are required to bring all educational documents in original as mentioned in the Call Up instructions. (b) In case, you are appearing in your final semester/year degree exam or your original documents have been submitted for pursuing higher studies, you are required to bring a Bonafide cum Custodian Certificate as per Appx A to that effect including date and month of completion of your exam and declaration of result on original letter head duly signed by the Principal/ Head of institution where the documents have been submitted. Candidates are required to bring at least two photocopies of those documents duly attested by the authority with which they are deposited. (c) The candidates of final year of graduation degree course should complete all their examinations including exams, practicals, projects, viva-voce, backlogs etc related to the degree prior to 01 Oct They should be able to produce the graduation degree either before or within 12 weeks of commencement of SSCW(NT)-20: Oct 2017 Course at OTA. In this case, candidates are required to bring a Bonafide Certificate on original letter head as per Appx B. Under taking Certificate as per Appx C. (d) It is clarified that receiving of Call Up letter does not make you eligible for SSB interview. Candidates are advised to ascertain their eligibility criteria as per notification. (e) The date of birth as that entered in the matriculation or an equivalent examination certificate will only be accepted. No other document relating to age will be accepted. 5. Note:- Withhold your move and contact us both by Post & by FAX in case you are a Local Candidate that is, you or your parents reside or work at Bhopal OR if you have a relative who serving in this Selection Centre. Further instructions regarding change of Centre will be intimated to you immediately on receipt of such confirmation from you. Withholding information or giving false information in this regard will render you to liable for cancellation of your candidature and disqualification of commission in case detected subsequently. 6. Travelling Allowance (TA). Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for a particular type of commission ie permanent or short service, shall be entitled for AC-III tier to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation cum sleeper charges within the Indian limits, if actually traveled. The Commandants of SSB will be the competent authority to pay return journey fare up to the extent of fare for onward journey by Rail/Road prior to the departure of candidates. Candidates applying/appearing for the same type of commission will not be entitled travelling allowance on any subsequent occasion. Candidate have to carry a hard copy of the ticket to claim the TA. (Soft Copy/SMS not authorised). Note:- All Candidates reporting for Selection Process must bring details of bank Account held in their name to include, Name of the Bank,Type of Account, Account No, Branch Code and IFSC Code. This information is required for payment of TA/DA as payment will be done by NEFT only).

2 7. Permanent Body Tattoo(s). Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection. Tribes with tattoo marks on the face or body as per their existing custom and traditions will be permitted on a case to case basis, in such cases a self certified certificate of undertaking declaring details of permanent body tattoo (s), is required to be submitted at the time of reporting (Format of these certificates are attached as per Annexures IV V & VI ). Policy on permanent body tattoo have been uploaded on the official web site of Recruiting Directorate.
