2 Welcome to our 2019 Private Treaty Bull Sale! In the past, we have held an online auction but due to some circumstances, this year years offering will be first come/first serve private treaty sale. Wes had knee surgery and has been a bit hobbled up. Also, ELTR has moved it s calving season to late spring and will feature all strong aged bulls born in the April/May time frame from now on. All cattle will be based priced, ready to go, with-out the auction fanfare. We are excited to offer this set of bulls and heifers sired by genetics that are time-tested and balanced. With buzzwords abounding in the business we value the trait of problem-free cattle that do the job in all areas more than ever. This includes feet, udders, fertility, and disposition among others. We do not sell anything we wouldn t use in our own herd. Also, we believe in longevity, as this along with fertility, more than anything contributes to a cow outfits bottom line. Our cattle are developed with enough feed to show performance difference, but with enough slow play to be rock solid sound. Another exciting part to this year s sale, we are offering a super set of heifers for your appraisal! They are the good doing kind. Another addition this year, Burchill Angus will be a guest consignor as we share some herd sires, donors, friendship, and philosophy. Bull Videos: Videos can be viewed at Genetics: All bulls have had the 50K genomic tests which includes parentage. This test helps ensure that you are getting the genetics that you are paying for. Bulls have been determined to be free of genetic defects. Health: Prior to delivery, all bulls will have passed semen evaluation performed by Dr. Greg Carlson, Southwood Veterinary Clinic in Jamestown, ND. The bulls will be vaccinated with Fusogard (foot rot) vac and Piliguard Pinkeye + Trivalent. Delivery: Free up to 300 miles in the United States, over 300 at cost. Bulls will be delivered with proper paperwork. Delivery available on females at cost. Guarantee: Elston Lone Tree Ranch will guarantee that the bulls selling to be breeders and pass a fertility test.
