It is my opinion that the figures stated represent a fair reflection of current market conditions, and in the event of a loss, should enable reasonably equivalent articles to be supplied in the appropriate market. The values stated are only valid at the date of the appraisal and no opinion is expressed either as to either any long-term future values or as to any past values. One relevant factor of some significance in valuation work is the fluctuation of the US dollar (in which bullion, diamonds and other gemstones are traded worldwide). Due to these fluctuations there is no guarantee that this value will remain accurate for any length of time, and the value stated is based on the cost to replace the described item at the date of appraisal. In the event of loss/significant damage it is recommended that you request an updated price/quote to submit to your insurer along with this schedule, which may also assist with establishing proof of ownership if you need to make a claim. A full re-appraisal every three to four years would be recommended. I respectfully draw your attention to the enclosed Notes to the Schedule which explain the procedures employed in preparing your appraisal, its limitations and the abbreviations used. It is important that these notes are read in conjunction with the main valuation text so that the appraisal terminology is clearly understood. With reference to specific items included in this Schedule I particularly draw your attention to the following. Note 7 regarding the accurate measurements of mounted gemstones. The diamonds in the items submitted for appraisal were not submitted with an internationally recognized Laboratory Report.You should therefore be aware that due to this, and with the limitations imposed by the mounts, the final value conclusions of such uncertificated stones may alter should the diamonds subsequently be unmounted and certificated. Note 12 regarding basis of Valuation. Item 1 on the enclosed schedule has been valued on the basis of ARV, and represents an average current replacement value for a similar item. In the event of a loss this may enable you to negotiate with your Insurance Company either a second hand replacement, or if this is not possible, a cash settlement. We would advise you to consult with your Insurance Company to ascertain if they are willing to underwrite on this basis. As I understand there has in the past been some controversy regarding the identification of the blue stone in Item 2, please refer to the enclosed Gem Testing Report for an explanation of my conclusions relating to this item. All the articles described in this Schedule have been examined with great care so that we may present an unbiased and fully researched report. Opals Three circular opals each measuring approximately 4.5-5mm diameter. Blue green colour with pinfire pattern. Diamonds Four old brilliant cut diamonds each measuring approximately. 3 mm diameter. Twenty four diamonds each measuring approximately mm. Total diamond weight estimated as approximately 1.00 ct. Hand made yellow solid curb link chain with integral snap fastener and safety chain attached. White claw settings to opals and diamonds. Unmarked but acid tested and valued as 15 ct gold with silver setting. Gross weight 18.3 grms. Circa Condition: Very good. In original fitted case retailed by Frazer & Haws of Piccadilly. ARV

5 Page 5 of 8 Item 2: Ring A seven stone ring set with a single emerald cut aquamarine, four brilliant cut diamonds and two baguette cut diamonds. Aquamarine The aquamarine measuring approximately 10.2 x 8 x 5.1 mm Estimated as weighing 2.83 cts. Diamonds The four brilliant cut diamonds each measuring approximately 1.5 mm diameter. The two baguette cut diamonds each measuring approximately 2.5 x 1.5 mm. Total diamond weight estimated as 0.10 ct. The white mount hand assembled and finished, with solid shoulders, four claw setting to aquamarine and rub over setting to diamonds. Stamped 18ct and valued as 18 ct white gold. Gross weight: 4.4 grams. NRV Total: The above two items have been valued for the sum of Three Thousand Six Hundred & Thirty Five Pounds on the 8 th February 2013 for the purpose stated above.
