3 Blouson Any top that blouses at or n ear the waistline

4 Button-Down Shirt Classic shirt with collar tips that button to the body of the shirt, traditionally made of cotton oxford cloth.

5 Traditionally, an item of underwear that is body-hugging, waistlength, and strapless, cut like an oldfashioned corset. (Made popular by Madonna as outerwear). Bustier Top

6 Formerly an undergarment much like the top half of a slip; most commonly made of soft, delicate fabrics. Camisole Top

7 A sleeveless, V- neck top that loops around the neck, leaving the arms, shoulders, and back as bare as possible. Halter Top

8 Originally, a traditionally Japanese wrap-style garment with wide, straight sleeves and a wide sash; now any robe, dress or shirt that resembles that shape. Kimono Top

9 Logo Knit Shirt Short-sleeved knit pullover with collar and placket, usually made in cotton pique knit or interlock.

10 Peasant Blouse A full-cut top with short, puffed sleeves, sometimes featured smocking or ethnic embroidery across the chest. Neckline is shirred on elastic and can be stretched to wear off the shoulder.

11 Scoop Neckline Low curved neckline extending to shoulders or cut deep in front, back or both. Originated in 30 s in evening wear.

12 A knit shirt cut like a T-Shirt without sleeves. Tank Top

13 Strapless top made of fabric that is shirred together to form a cylinder shape. The material is usually elastic to keep it from falling down. Tube Top

14 Originally underwear, this inexpensive knit top with simple round neck and squared cut, hemmed sleeves. Became outerwear during the l950 s. T-Shirt

15 Twin Sets -Tops Two sweaters made to be worn together. One usually of a short-sleeved pullover type and the other in a cardigan style.

16 Boat Neck Top A wide shallow neckline that extends from shoulder bone to shoulder bone, with equal depth from front and back. (also called bateau, meaning boat in French)

17 Bow Neck Top A plain neck with attached fabric that can be tied in a bow.

18 Cowl Collar Top Originally a simple hood attached to a garment, which could be thrown off the head onto the shoulders. Now, a high round loose-fitting collar that can be rolled down on itself. Similar to a turtleneck but looser.

19 Crew Neckline A round neck with ribbed banding that fits close to the base of the neck, usually on a sweater.

20 Henley Neckline A collarless round neck with front placket and several buttons, copied from shirts worn by rowers in regattas in Henley, England.

21 A crew-like neckline with a split collar attached inside, so it resembles a shirt collar emerging from a sweater. Johnny Collar

22 Keyhole Neckline A plain, round neckline closed by a single button with a narrow loop opening below it.

23 Mock Turtleneck A high, round, close-fitting collar that does not fold down.

24 Notched Collar A classic shirt style with open collar and turned back lapel. The notch is formed where the collar seam meets the lapel.

25 Peter Pan Collar A small Collar with rounded instead of pointed tips named after the character Peter Pan.

26 Sabrina Neckline High boat neckline fastened together at the shoulders with spaghetti strings that are tied in bows.

27 A straight (unnotched) collar edging a deep, curving V-neck, often in wrap-style, double-breasted blouses or dresses. Shawl Collar

28 Standup or Band Collar A plain band, usually about one inch in height, rising vertically from the neck of a blouse or dress.

29 Surplice (sur-plis) A wrap-style blouse or dress in which one side of the garment crosses or wraps around the other.

30 Sweetheart Neckline A low neckline that ends in rounded curves like the top of a heart.

31 Turtleneck Neckline A high, round, snugly fitting collar that folds down over itself.

32 Shirt with convertible collar often closed with snaps. May have pockets in front and V-shaped yolk in front and back. Western Shirt

33 Triangular shaped skirt that is wider at the hem than at the waistband. The shape comes from the cut of the fabric rather than from gathers, gores, or pleats. A - Line Skirt
