6 Please Note The Information Below Approximate quantities of all items are shown in Schedule A. All materials shall be of high quality and durable enough for everyday wear. Suppliers must guarantee supply of stock for a minimum of (3) years after initial supply. Prices quoted must be guaranteed for any orders within a two (2) year period from date of delivery of initial order Suppliers must provide samples of items with tender and a representative must be available to size operators (once awarded). A representative should also be available on relatively short notice to answer questions and to process re-orders. All items should be in stock where possible. Some items may require tailoring. Tailoring must be done in a timely matter and tailor should be readily available to drivers. 1. Sizing is to be completed within two (2) weeks of tender award. Delivery of all items is required within ten (10) weeks of sizing. Should a supplier be unable to meet these delivery dates, it must be clearly stated in their bid. Failure to deliver on time will result in payment penalties as per attached Schedule B. All tenders prices are to be listed in Schedule C. 2. Uniforms must be individually packaged with operators name clearly visible. 3. Cost of attaching embroidery must be included in tender cost. 4. The Commission does not bind itself to accept the lowest bid or tender. 5. This is a two -year tender with the option to extend for an additional year. Bidder must be able to supply all items on this tender. 6. Metrobus reserves the right to cancel this tender if service is poor or deadlines are exceeding work limit (10 weeks). 7. Clothing may be awarded on an individual basis.
