Description of first aid measures General information In case of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical advice. In case of unconsciousness give nothing by mouth, place in recovery position and seek medical advice. Inhalation Remove to fresh air, keep patient warm and at rest. Ingestion Do not induce vomiting. If accidentally swallowed, obtain medical attention. Keep at rest. Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or use recognised skin cleanser Do NOT use solvents or thinners Eye contact Irrigate copiously with clean fresh water, holding the eyelids apart and seek medical advice. Precautions for safe handling Avoid inhalation of vapours. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in areas of storage and use. Comply with health and safety at work laws. 4 Hand protection There is no one glove material or combination of materials that will give unlimited resistance to any individual or combination of chemicals. Thickness of the glove material > 0.4mm; penetration time (maximum wearing period) > 480 min. Observe the instructions and details for use, storage, maintenance and replacement provided by the protective glove manufacturer. Penetration time of glove material dependant on intensity and duration of exposure to skin. Recommended glove articles: DIN EN 374. Barrier creams can help protecting exposed skin areas. In no case should they be used after contact. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation.
