4 Chapter 1 Sentencing Andy Young looked up. He was propped up on a metal frame with his wrists and ankles clamped to it. The frame was mounted on an electric powered base that was slowly driving along the featureless white corridor. Two severe looking young women, with long hair tied in a ponytail walked at either side. A third walked behind, operating the moving 'vehicle with a hand held remote control. All three wore tight fitting black leather trousers and jackets. By contrast, Andy wore some faded, baggy, comfortable blue jeans and a blue checked shirt over a white vest. A door slid open ahead of them and the vehicle drove through. "Halt, said a cold, female, machine voice. Andy s conveyance stopped abruptly in front of a glowing green obelisk - a sort of frosted glass spike. Five older women, also in black, sat behind a circular white metal desk. Each had two buttons in front of them. "Andrew Young. Aged 21. announced the computerized voice, "Charge one: Falsification of work attendance records. Charge two: Misuse of state automotive unit. Charge three: Excess alcohol consumption. Charge four: Defacing state property. Charge five: Physical exposure in a public venue. Charge six: Resisting arrest. Charge seven: Category one assault on a law enforcement agent. Andy s mind flashed back to that night. He had bunked off work, leaving his access key logged in to cover the fact. Then he 'borrowed the delivery vehicle to drive out of the city. It was true he had had more than his weekly entitlement to alcohol. Then he had needed to empty his bladder in a doorway because he could not hold it long enough to find a proper facility. He blushed when he remembered that, in his drunken state, he had thought dropping his trousers was a funny idea. Yes, he had run away when he heard the security guard s whistle. Therefore, he had to agree that technically he was as guilty as hell. As for the assault part, he still thought that was a bit strong. When the guard had handcuffed him, he had leaned forward and kissed her before passing out. "Enter your verdict on charge one, the computer continued. The older women reached towards one of their buttons. appeared on the base of the green obelisk. Five red lights 1

5 "Guilty. Unanimous verdict, intoned the machine. "Enter your verdict on charge two. Repeatedly, the red lights came on as the charges were considered one by one. Guilty, guilty, guilty... "Andrew Young. Aged 21. said the computer, "You have been found guilty on seven charges. The automatic penalty for each charge is one 24-hour period in the Punishment Dome. Your sentence shall begin immediately. Should you wish to appeal you may do so after the sentence has been completed. Staring defiantly at the glass spike, Andy felt himself turning round. Oh well, he thought, seven days in The Dome could not be too bad, could it? Feeling a little less confident than he looked, he was 'driven from the room, accompanied by his three guards. After what felt like a very long journey, he arrived at the entrance to the Dome. Passing through an arched doorway, he found himself in what reminded him of an Igloo, only made of metal instead of ice and painted a depressing grey. To his surprise, the three guards clicked their heels and left him - pausing only to hang the remote control on the back of the frame. He was alone, strapped to this frame in the middle of an empty room. He was not alone for long. An internal door opened and two young women, less severe looking, walked in. They wore light grey boiler suits. One looked around thirty and had a name badge with "Ms. Dawson printed on it, the other looked younger than he was and was called "Ms. Western. "Andrew Young? asked Ms. Dawson. He nodded silently. She consulted a small plastic card in her hand. "You have been a naughty boy. Never mind, this is where you show contrition and pay for it. You will leave here with an unblemished character. He felt vaguely reassured by the slight note of amusement in her voice. Ms. Western seemed lost in thought, eyeing him up and down. "Your first punishment is being prepared, continued Ms. Dawson, making some of his optimism drain away. Ms. Western had retrieved the remote control and he felt the frame carrier move forward, heading for the inner door. On the other side was a similar room, also Igloo-shaped, but in a slightly lighter grey. Three female guards stood around the edge of the room, they were dressed in grey versions of the leather uniform. There was a damp smell in the room, and a few puddles on the floor. More curious than concerned, Andy looked around for clues. He felt the wrist and ankle straps relax their grip. "Stand up. said Ms. Dawson, not unkindly. He stepped off the mobile frame and stood still, waiting for instructions. "Stand on the marks, one foot on each 2

6 On the floor, yellow footprints had been painted a little distance apart. As he heard the whirr of the electric travelling machine departing, he stood on the markers. He was facing Ms. Dawson with his legs apart. They were not particularly wide, but he started to feel a little more nervous and vulnerable. Ms. Dawson produced a remote control from her pocket and pressed one of the buttons. He was aware of a gentle breeze blowing on him from a vent somewhere above. It was not that cold, but he could feel it blowing down the front of his vest and he could feel his nipples reacting. Under different circumstances, he would have found it quite pleasurable. Satisfied that the vent was working, Ms. Dawson walked over to a silver stand and started uncoiling a metal hose with a spray nozzle on the end. It reminded Andy of a showerhead. For a first punishment, he thought, this was very odd... Ms. Western was now standing in front of him, unfastening the buttons on his checked shirt. Firmly, but not unkindly, she opened it wide and slid it down his arms. He glanced at the three guards with 'stingers - short rods that gave out brief but painful electric shocks - and gave up any idea of resistance. As Ms. Western confiscated his shirt, Ms. Dawson was testing the hose. She squeezed a trigger and a spray of water came out, aimed at the silver stand. Andy was working out where this was leading. Ms. Western was in front of him again, tugging at his vest. She pulled it free of his jeans and started dragging it up his body. She looked with interest and a smile as she bared his 'treasure trail - that little line of hair that led from his naval downwards and hinted at what might be in his jeans. Then she uncovered his stomach. He was fit, healthy, and quite proud of his firm stomach. It was not quite as toned as he planned, but he had never had any complaints. He felt strangely aroused, despite the circumstances, as she exposed his nipples. They were stiff little points sticking out from a little circle of soft, cool pink skin. He had a little covering of hair on his pecs, mostly around his nipples with a small, faint, soft patch in the middle of his chest. He raised his arms without being asked, knowing that his vest was coming off so there was no point resisting. Ms. Western confiscated the vest, taking the opportunity to admire his smooth back. The cool air was much more obvious now, blowing gently on his bare chest. His face felt warm and he realized he was blushing. Which given the circumstances and the watchful eyes of five women was hardly surprising. He recoiled slightly as a jet of cold water hit him on the chest. "Stay on the marks, said Ms. Dawson, giving him another quick spray. Andy saw the guards move forwards and obediently planted his feet firmly on the yellow marks, as another spray of cold water landed on his left nipple. He could feel the water trickling down his chest, making the cool air feel even colder. As a first punishment, this cold shower would be uncomfortable, he thought, but bearable. In all honesty, it was more than a little arousing - especially considering the close attention Ms. Western was giving to his bare chest. If they imagined this was going to discourage future offences, they were wrong. He gasped suddenly and closed his eyes as a jet of cold water hit him in the 3

8 Chapter 2 A Little Bit Harsher Andy could feel the water spray moving in circles around each nipple in turn as Ms. Dawson carefully targeted the cold jet. She was deliberately aiming for his pleasure zones and the expression on her face suggested she knew how he would be feeling. Ms. Western stood a few feet away watching, her eyes running up and down his bare upper body. The water running down his body was making his jeans wet and soaking through to his underwear. Ms. Dawson stopped spraying abruptly and Andy looked up surprised, shivering slightly as the cold air continued to blow on him. Ms. Western walked forwards and stood directly in front of him. Determined to take his punishment 'like a man Andy had no intention of flinching or showing any signs of weakness. He told himself that the fact she was a woman made no difference. She was there to discipline him and his best option was to accept it and deal with it. He stood perfectly still as she reached out and unfastened the buckle of his belt. Struggling to control his nerves, he allowed her to unfasten the top button. From the corner of his eye, he could see that the guards were watching his every move. Ms. Western pulled the zip fly of his jeans down slowly, with calm practiced hands. Andy could feel himself getting more and more turned on at the thought of being stripped. She tugged at his jeans and they started to slide down his long legs. He wore comfortable snug fitting black boxer shorts, the outline of his sexual organs plain for all to see. "Cuff him, said Ms. Dawson simply. One of the guards stepped forwards, brandishing a pair of thick black metal handcuffs. Offering no resistance, Andy s hands were pulled behind him and cuffed - so that they rested on his buttocks. He bent over to remove them, tossing them aside. The metal was cold under his bare feet. Two of the guards came closer, each taking hold of one arm. His hands were pushed through the loops at the top of the poles so he was standing in a T-shape, and the guards twisted a small wheel on each pole that caused the loops to tighten enough to prevent him freeing his hands. Ms. Dawson pressed another button on her remote control. He looked up and saw what might have been a crude, functional chandelier descending from the ceiling. It was as wide as the metal floor panel and for a fleeting instant, he thought it was going to come all the way down and crush him! Instead, it stopped a few feet above his head and cast an ominous shadow. The front of his boxer shorts eased a little as his erection started to reduce. He looked anxiously at Ms. Dawson and Ms. Western, genuinely afraid of what was going to happen. Maybe if he showed his fear, he thought, they would be kind to him. The 'chandelier started humming... Was that a little defiant pout, or had he just mimed a kiss? Considering what was on his 'charge sheet it would not be surprising. Well, she smirked, she would show him who was boss! She turned to Ms. Dawson and whispered something. Ms. Dawson considered for a moment, then nodded and pressed the 'off button on her controls. Puzzled, Andy tried to guess what she had said. Was the 'stinging over? Ms. Western walked towards him, and he waited expectantly for the loops to be opened. She looked him straight in the eye, and placed her hands on his waist. Realization dawned. Everyone else watched silently as she pulled Andy s boxer shorts down, slowly and deliberately. First, she eased down the back, exposing his bare buttocks.
