3 LETTER FROM SACHI WAKASHIRO, WACOAL LINGERIE DIRECTOR FOR SS19, WE PRESENT A FRESH COLOUR PALETTE WITH A PARTICULAR FOCUS ON STYLES CURATED FOR COMFORT AND FIT. Colours are inspired by nature and all that surrounds us. From fresh fruits, flowers and open landscapes to clear skies, glistening moonlight and precious stones. For the new season we re introducing two new collections for everyday wear, one of which is Lace Essentiel. Organic and pretty, natural silhouettes with cottony guipure look lace smooth contemporary design with a comfort fit. Opulence returns in White Jasmine for your special day too. A marriage of Japanese innovation and European style, we ve collaborated with the Human Science Research Centre in Wacoal Japan to create unique styles which combine Japanese innovation in design and pattern cutting with European trends and fabrics. And finally, we welcome Vertu. An exquisite embroidery collection which has a light-as-air feel with refined brightness. Here delicate embroidery is mixed with translucent clean edge mesh for a true celebration in luxury lingerie design. SACHI WAKASHIRO
