2 Our Mission is to become the leading practice community service organization focusing on issues and strategies that positively impact young males and our communities. The brothers of Phi Beta Sigma are the Fraternity's most valuable resource and strength. They are the primary means by which Phi Beta Sigma objective will be achieved. In order to accomplish the Fraternity's objectives, it is essential that systems are instituted that effectively embody "Culture For Service and Service For Humanity" and promote Brotherhood Scholarship, and Service. Our Core Objectives: * Strengthen and serve proactively, the Brotherhood. as a supportive resource that positively impacts the Fraternity's growth and financial solvency. * Reaffirm and maintain a strong commitment to Brotherhood. Scholarship and Service. * Ensure that the Fraternity programs are focused and committed to serving humanity. * Create an environment that respects the dignity and worth of each brother. * Exhibit integrity and ethical behavior in conducting the Fraternity's business. serving as a model for all Greek-letter organizations. * Maintain and improve the Fraternity's technological literacy in order to better service its members and the community at large. * Foster and nurture our constitutional bond with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. * Encourage a closer and mutually beneficial working relationship with fellow Greek-letter organizations, other community service organizations, business and government. * Select leaders who are committed and have demonstrated the ability to "lead".

Culture for service, service for humanity Since Sigma s inception in 1914, on the campus of Howard University, Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service have been the founding cornerstones of this great fraternity. Our illustrious, visionary founders, A. Langston Taylor, Leonard F. Morse, and Charles I. Brown, recognized, at the outset, the importance of brotherly unity and respect, education, and service to mankind. These guiding principles are reflected in the fraternity s motto: Culture for service, service for humanity. The ideals also are clearly manifested Sigma s rich tradition of joining forces to positively affect countless lives in local and global communities. Communities, however, continue to face difficult economic times and health wellness issues. Continuous steadfast commitment to develop solutions to solve these urgent challenges is greatly needed as never before. After all, What we do says who we are. With that in mind, it is this administration s mission to render continued life changing community service. Therefore, I have chosen as my administration s theme: Changing Lives Through Service. The vision will be accomplished through strategic program implementation and measurement to ensure we continue to change lives through service by: Putting Brothers First Modeling and Developing Sigma Leaders..Reducing Our Leadership Variances Making Impact Through Fraternity Signature Programs Finally, as I stand on the shoulders of noble Sigma men, I am honored and humbled to have been elected to continue the extraordinary heritage of this wondrous brotherhood. Jimmy Hammock International President Greetings All Executive Director's Message I am honored to have been appointed by the General Board to serve as the 5th International Executive Director of our noble Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. It is with a great sense of humility that I accept the challenge of serving as the Chief Operating Officer of our great Fraternity. Through hard work, perseverance and the best performance of duty, I know that this daily journey will only strengthen our organization and enable us to better serve humanity. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated has long served humanity and championed many causes through our programmatic thrust that highlights our three program areas: Bigger and Better Business, Education and Social Action. Our unwavering commitment to the betterment of mankind is evident by the impact we make in providing leadership to the next generation of leaders through our official youth affiliate program, the Sigma Beta Club. Please know that as we move forward, no one will work harder than the headquarters staff. Each day we are committed to making something positive happen to move the Fraternity forward.
