2 ADVANTAGES 1) GENTLE CLEANER DISINFECTANT AND SOFTENER USED FOR TEAT PREPARATION. Before milking, the teats carry various particles (faeces, diverse remains, straws, dust, etc.), heavily contaminated by microorganisms. The gentle cleaning bases of DERMISAN eliminate these particles without irritating the epidermis.. DERMISAN keeps all its cleaning properties in hard water areas.. The disinfecting agent contained in DERMISAN improves the decontamination obtained by cleaning. 2) DECONTAMINATION OF THE SOLUTION USED FOR SOAKING THE CLEANING CLOTHS The presence of a disinfecting agent in the DERMISAN formula controls contamination in cloth-dipping solutions. This is achieved without using hypochlorite, which can create skin irritation problems; and we use only one product. The disinfecting agent contained in DERMISAN is chemically stable, even in the presence of contaminating material ; DERMISAN remains active during the whole period in-between milkings. The long-lasting contact time between milkings enables DERMISAN to have a strong decontamination effect on the solution used to wash the cleaning cloths. The risk of transmitting germs responsible for mastitis is therefore eliminated during this period. DERMISAN is bactericidal at 0,75 % according to NFT / 4-

4 Clean the cleaning cloths and soak them in a bucket containing 0.5% DERMISAN plus solution (5 ml for 1 L), until the following milking. - Before milking : Empty the bucket without wringing out cleaning cloths and cover the cleaning cloths with hot water. Add soap only if necessary. - During milking : Use a cleaning cloth per cow. Clean the teat with one side. Wring carefully the cleaning cloth and wipe the teat with the other side of the cloth.
