First of all does anyone here use a Facemate ES-330? I was interested in this because I heard it helped pushed actives into your skin. Any opinions?

If you feel comfortable please give your age and what kind of skin you have. I have the Facemate ES-330 and LOVE it - absolutely worth every penny I spent on it. I'm 41, oily, large pores prone to congestion; very reactive to certain ingredients. how much time does all this take a day? Joined: 13 Jul 2005 Posts: 1779 Well, it depends. For example, I just finished using my Facemate ES-330 (my face looks great from the treatment) and it took a total of 30 minutes. Here is my routine: Gather my hand mirror, conductivity gel, washcloth and massanger with power supply. Plug it in to a power supply I've got sitting under my loveseat and do a 20- minute session (5 minutes each quadrant of cheeks, forehead and neck). Then, I set it on the negative ion mode and use it 3 minutes each cheek and 2 minutes forehead and neck. I wash it off with a corner of the wet washcloth, dry it and then use the fully wet cloth to remove the gel from my face. I rinse once more and I'm done. It may sound like a lot but it's routine now so very quick and easy and I love what it does for my skin. This, BTW, is my shorter routine (I

2 do this once or twice during the week and a longer session one day on my weekend beauty day). All of these are easy to do while watching TV - I normally catch up on my Discovery Channel so the time flies. I always use these gadget in front of the TV as it is way easier than in front of the bathroom mirror and I'm entertained at the same time. Hi stepfordwife - Okay the Facemate ES In the cleansing mode, it must really cleanse well as I've had very few breakouts since I started using the Facemate ES-330 and it gives my skin a nice glow after cleansing; the ultrasound mode seems to plump up my skin and don't know if it's due to a deeper hydration or if the ATP cells are regenerating collagen. I had a couple deeper blue veins on my forehead and they seem to be less noticeable due to a thicker skin; then I use the microcurrent mode to lift the skin and I see a slight lifting around the eyebrows. I use the LEd with both the ultrasound and the microcurrent. I also use an aloe vera gel with actives in it on both the ultrsaound mode and microcurrent mode.

3 I haven't seen it do too much for age spots or lines around the eyes but the nasolabial lines are diminished. For the price, I'm very happy with it. Don't think any home gadget will do as well as a professional model. When you use the microcurrent mode, you have to be careful how you move the device. In looking up how other microcurrent devices are used, they are used in a lifting motion and not in circular motion. When you ues upward strokes on the microcurrent, you have to move it in the right places to lift the jowls. and yes, I also use it on the neck - both the ultrasound and microcurrent. I use the 3mhz on face and neck and never go above the "5" level. haven't thought about using a mixture of aloe with regular lotion as the aloe dries rather quickly in the heat out here so I spritz water on the aloe when it dries. it may water down a cream if I have to spritz that mixture as well. I defnitely think it is worth the investment - it makes my skin baby smooth too. Good luck! DiPhx I would love to source an Ultrasound system that I can use for joint pain, facial firming and cellulite reduction (yeah, I know, I'm asking for the moon!). From what I understand, cellulite reduction can be achieved only by a machine that sends 2-3 MHz of ultrasound frequency. The athome units I found below only send 1 MHz of frequency - which is suitable for facial

I believe it is the exact same unit I found, except your source offers this device at a cheaper price ($239 vs. $279). I have not compared the shipping costs to see if this makes a difference. I've tried it on the legs 2x, I decided to try it on my body later. My face is the one that need serious care too.
