3 SMS gowns SMS gowns for extra-high protection from fluids and particles Protective gowns from 3-ply, soft 40 g/ m² SMS composite material (spun-bonded fabric/melt-blown fabric/spun-bonded fabric). The combined layers ensure a highly effective barrier against fluids, germs and light chemical splashes. The gown is also opaque, low-linting, extremely tear and pierce-resistant, while remaining breathable and providing optimum comfort. Fastening straps on the neck and waist, cuffs at the end of the sleeves. The gown was successfully tested for its resistance to germ-penetration in humid (based on DIN EN ISO 22610) and in dry (based on DIN EN ISO 22612) conditions, and for its impermeability to viruses, and is therefore excellently suited for handling MRSA or noro-viruses.
